Netflix this Monday (5/12) released a shocking preview of the documentary series starring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The connection between the exhibition and Princess Diana did not go unnoticed. Halfway through the clip, there’s a brief shot through a car’s back window, showing another vehicle appearing to be following it. In the background of the scene, Meghan’s voice says, “I noticed. ‘She [parentes do marido] They will never protect you.” The phrase mentions the time when the couple were still part of the high echelons of the royal family up until March 2020.
Following his wife’s comment, Prince Harry testified: “I was scared, I didn’t want history to repeat itself. We know the whole truth.”
The episode brings back memories of the frightening final days of Lady Di’s life and is shown to relate to being followed. Harry and William’s mother died in a car accident in 1997 while fleeing the paparazzi.

The documentary series entitled Harry & Meghan will be divided into two parts. The first wave of episodes starts this Thursday (December 8th) and the second one a week later, on December 15th.
Directed by Liz Garbus, the Netflix production promises to follow the couple’s routine since dating, a turbulent season as members of the royal family and the fallout of forgoing roles in the British monarchy. The deal signed between the streaming giant and the Dukes of Sussex reached a mere US$150 million, equaling R$788 million.
