The forward, entering his fourth year in the National Hockey League (NHL), had the best season of his career on offense. In 81 games, Lafrenière has accumulated 39 points, including 16 goals. However, he was dropped from the points list in seven playoff games.

However, the left winger’s offensive breakthrough in the National Hockey League (NHL) is yet to come considering he was the Rangers’ first overall pick in the 2020 NHL draft.

K’Andre Miller too

In addition to Lafrenière, the New York organization would have made qualifying offers to five other players, including defenseman K’Andre Miller.

The huge full-back rendered valuable service to his side last season, being used in every way by his coach. The Minnesota native finished the season with an average game time of 21:57.

He equaled his career high with 43 points, including nine goals in 79 games in the 2022-23 season.
