The Bachelor’s newest leading man, Jed McIntosh, appears to be making the most of his newfound fame, despite the show not airing until next year.

The 25-year-old musician attended friend George Christoudia’s birthday party at trendy Melbourne hotspot Ms Collins on Saturday night.

Jed exuded style in a white studded jacket, which he paired with a multicolored printed shirt and black leather jeans.

At one point, Jed appeared in good spirits as he posed next to his pal with a three-liter bottle of Belvedere Vodka.

The sighting comes after Chron Australia revealed that the upcoming three-star season of The Bachelor will not air until 2023.

“Ten called to reschedule the show to early 2023 so they can focus on promoting The Real Love Boat,” a source revealed last week.

“I don’t see them airing reality dating shows back-to-back, and there’s only 10 weeks of viewing left…they’d rather keep it and give it the publicity it needs.”

Both applicants and contestants can now access their social media accounts, having been removed from the network before the show aired.

The source added that some of the contestants vying for the trio’s hearts are not happy about the show being postponed until the new year.

“The show was filmed four months ago and the cast wasn’t able to return to social media until three months after the final air date,” they said.

“Some of them were hoping to be real influencers by now.”

Channel 10 is expected to make an announcement about the show at the network’s Upfronts presentation next month.

A KTLA news anchor was fired after an on-air rant in which he criticized the way the TV network had handled the departure of its co-host.

The catalyst for the incident unfolded on September 15 when the departure of weekend presenter Lynette Romero was announced by KTLA reporter Sam Rubin, who broke the news after being abruptly handed a script to read on the air.

“Some news that we just received here that we wanted to share with you… after almost 24 years, Lynette Romero, our friend Lynette, has decided to no longer anchor our weekend morning news,” Rubin said.

“Management had hoped she would stay here her entire career and KTLA has worked hard to make that happen.

“But Lynette has decided to pursue another opportunity elsewhere. Lynette, we wish you the best of luck, we miss you and we thank you for everything you have done for KTLA.”

Taking to social media, many viewers shared their confusion over Romero’s sudden departure and their anger that she wasn’t given a proper farewell.

“That doesn’t sound right at all. No proper goodbye to @LynetteRomero after all these years is garbage,” one person wrote on Twitter.

Two days later, on Sept. 17, Weekend Morning News co-host Mark Mester teased on Twitter that he would be addressing the situation on air.

When the time came, Mester walked away from the script and criticized the station’s management for its handling of Romero’s departure.

“An announcement was made on Wednesday, Sam Rubin had to read it, it was unfortunate…it was inappropriate and we’re so sorry about that,” he said.

“Lynette deserves to say goodbye, it didn’t happen, I don’t know who wrote the script, I don’t know who gave it to Sam Rubin, never mind that was a mistake.

“We owe you an apology and we owe Lynette an apology.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, Mester has now been fired from KTLA for his off-script rage.

During a Sept. 22 newsroom meeting, the network’s CEO Janene Drafs said, “[Mester]is no longer with KTLA5,” according to the Times, speaking to staff present at the meeting.

Station sources told the outlet that Romero no longer wants to work weekends and has asked management to put in an anchor shift on weekdays so she can spend more time with her family. She was reportedly told by the station that there were no vacancies.

While many viewers applauded Mester for his on-air honesty, KTLA staff said it was “unprofessional” and “reckless.”

A farewell script with photos and video of Romero had been written for Mester to read but was ignored.

Staff told the Times they saw Mester pacing in front of the segment and that he ignored management’s request for a post-tirade meeting.

Mester also reportedly told one of the news directors to “shut up,” and refused to leave the building when told to do so.

Station sources said many staffers had previously been concerned about Mester’s temper.

“You wouldn’t believe the outbursts of anger and the strange things that upset him,” said one staffer.

“One is constantly afraid of saying the wrong thing.”

While Romero hasn’t addressed the situation in detail, she did respond to a tweet from actress Holly Robinson Peete, who wrote about her experience of being fired from daytime TV talk show The Talk.

“As someone who was not given a proper farewell or even an acknowledgment of my departure in speech many years ago, I feel the disrespect and wish you the very best. I can’t wait to see what’s next!” she wrote.

In response, Romero wrote: “Thank you @hollyrpeete for reaching out with your light and love. I am so grateful.”

Romero also thanked her viewers and said she was grateful for the love and affection they had given her.

“Stay tuned my friends, I’ll be right back.”

Buddy Franklin and his beloved Sydney Swans suffered a huge loss to the Geelong Cat in Saturday’s one-sided AFL Grand Final.

And the Footy star’s wife Jesinta looked dejected as she returned to Sydney on Monday after the crushing defeat.

The model, 31, was seen getting several packages from her mailbox when she got home wearing a black long-sleeved turtleneck over boyfriend jeans.
