Alicia Clark risked everything to climb the roof of Victor Strand’s tower and found herself engulfed in flames on Sunday’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead.
Before she jumps onto the bonfire’s rooftop platform, Alicia [Alycia Jasmin Debnam-Carey] asked Victor [Coleman Domingo] turn off the lights to save their people outside.
“You’ll never forgive me,” Victor said. “Even if I turn it off. Even if I help you save everyone, that damage is already done.’

Alicia tried to turn off the signal herself, but Victor pushed her to the ground.
“It would never make you love me,” Victor said.
“It could have happened, but you ruined it with what you did to Wes!” Alicia said.
“I had no choice,” Victor said. “I tried to save your life.”

“No, we’re trying to save yours and you didn’t care who you had to kill to do it,” Alicia said.
Alicia kicked Victor and pushed a crane that smashed and shattered the beacon. Alicia then hooked up her transmitter on the roof and broadcast the tower’s coordinates, encouraging people to come. A fire from the broken beacon suddenly swept through the roof.
“Alicia, this is going to spread throughout the building,” Victor said.

When the episode titled Divine Providence began, Alicia had just arrived at Victor’s Tower with her group. Victor invited Alicia to have a drink with him. We s [Colby Hollman] told Victor that if he let Alicia in, he could lose everything he had built.
“I won’t, I assure you,” Victor said.

Daniel Salazar [Rubén Blades] invaded with Alica and demanded to see his daughter Ofelia, who he mistakenly believed was in the tower. Alicia explained to Victor that Daniel was not well. Victor told his rangers to take Daniel down to the basement for some time out. Wes poured drinks for Alicia and Victor.
“You wouldn’t live without me,” Alicia said to Wes.
“As far as I can remember, I saved him, too,” Victor said.

“So which one of you do I owe my life to?” Wes said.
Victor saw that Alicia was still wearing the locket of the necklace. She said she took it from Will [Gus Halper] after Victor killed him. Victor told her he wanted them to toast to new beginnings. Alicia told him she wasn’t interested. Victor told his rangers to cut the phone on the platform and lead radioactive walkers to Alicia’s group to kill them. He turned on the generator to power the beacon and attract more dead.
“When I first lit the beacon I did it to keep you out, now I’m supposed to keep you in,” Victor said.

Alicia grabbed a gun and held it to Victor’s head, forcing him into an elevator. Victor kicked the gun out of her hand and put a sword to her neck. She revealed to him that she was terminally ill.
“Please turn off the lights and I’ll call off the army,” Alicia said. ‘You have my word.’
Alicia agreed to stay in the tower with Victor if he agreed to a truce. He has.

“We can’t trust your instincts anymore, Strand, not anymore,” Wes said as the other rangers drew their guns on Victor as well.
Victor shot Wes and then ran out of the room with Alicia. Meanwhile, Daniel managed to kill his guard and free himself.

Alicia and Victor stormed in and told Daniel that they needed his help to get to the roof and turn off the beacon.
“I won’t help anyone until I see Ofelia,” Daniel said.
Victor lied and told Daniel that Ofelia was on the top floor.
Victor told Alicia he wanted to help her turn off the light.

“I want you to see that everything I’ve done has been worth it,” Victor said.
Alicia was weak and Victor took her to the infirmary for drugs. Daniel found a record of everyone in the tower and saw that Ofelia’s name was not on it. He confronted Victor. Victor admitted to Daniel that Ofelia was dead but that he knew Charlie [Alexa Nisenson] in the next room meant something to him. Daniel pointed a gun at Victor, but Alicia begged him not to kill him.
Deciding not to kill Victor, Daniel sat by Charlie’s side and comforted her.
“Even so, I still think we make a pretty good team,” Victor said to Alicia as they continued toward the roof.

“I guess we’ll find out,” Alicia said.
Victor made it to the sixth floor, but Wes and the other rangers were waiting for them.
“Finish what you started, Victor,” Wes said. “You must protect what you have built here.”
Victor and Alicia ran and barricaded themselves in a room. Rangers surrounded her and Victor apologized to Alicia.
Hard line: “Finish what you started, Victor,” Wes said. “You have to protect what you have built here”
“I’m sorry, Alicia,” Victor said. “I wanted us to rebuild together. I thought we had more time to heal, to repair. Will made me realize something that I should have told you a long time ago, that I love you, Alicia. You are the closest thing to my family.”
Victor started to cry. Wes and the other rangers burst in.
“Please don’t do this,” Alicia said. “Those people out there don’t deserve to die.”

Wes shows Victor that he found a transmitter in Alicia’s bag. Alicia admitted that she wanted to put a rooftop message out to the people out there who need help. Wes said Alicia was lying and if she lured more people into the tower they wouldn’t stand a chance.
“If you don’t protect this place, I will,” Wes said.
Alicia closed her eyes and waited for Wes to kill her, but then Daniel burst in and shot the rangers. Alicia was able to point her gun at Wes.

‘Why would you do that?’ said Alicia.
“He didn’t want to step down and we were running out of time,” Victor said. “Let’s turn off the light.”
