Nikki Haley says “There's a reason pilots can't fly after 65” as she AGAIN brings up Trump's age and insists he's more focused on his $400 gold sneakers than the American people

Nikki Haley made another argument for why President Joe Biden, 81, and former President Donald Trump, 77, are both too old to serve another term.

The 52-year-old presidential candidate mentioned other careers with an age limit of 65 – such as pilots and military officers.

Haley also argued during a NewsNation interview Tuesday night that Republican front-runner Trump is distracted. She mentioned that his mind was preoccupied with his numerous lawsuits and non-campaign ventures like his new gold sneakers, which retail for $399, instead of doing what was best for Americans.

The question of age comes amid growing concerns, particularly about Biden's fitness for office, after a Justice Department report released this month described the president as an “older man” with a “poor memory” and “diminished abilities.”

Special Counsel Robert Hur concluded that he would not recommend indicting Biden in the secret documents case because a jury would be hesitant to convict a man they believe did not have the “mental state of premeditation” to commit a “serious crime”.

“I think if you ask a doctor they will tell you that you are prone to this if you are over 80.” [dementia]” Haley told NewsNation when asked about Biden and Trump's mental state at their advanced ages.

“Look, there's a reason why pilots can't fly after 65. There is a reason why military men retire before 65,” the former United Nations ambassador added. “We have serious problems.”

“None of this is normal behavior from either of them,” she said, referring to Biden allowing open borders and focusing on gender pronouns in schools and Trump “mocking military personnel” by questioning the whereabouts of her deployed husband.

“What I'm saying is that 70 percent of Americans say in polls that they want normalcy back, they don't want chaos.” “They don't want that chaos,” she added.

As both Biden and Trump's ages increasingly come into question, Haley is also questioning the former president's priorities amid a barrage of lawsuits and considering how he can further upend his life and his legal battles.

At a sneaker conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, over the weekend, Trump unveiled his $399 pair of gold shoes called the “Never Surrender High-Top Sneakers.”

“This is something I've been talking about for 12, 13 years, and I think it's going to be a big success,” Trump said during his speech at Sneaker Con Philadelphia.

Haley says this is just another way for him to make money.

“He’s not focused on the American people,” Haley told NewsNation. “He focuses on the sneakers.”

“I think you can see that in his campaign reports – he spent $50 million in campaign contributions on his personal court cases. 'Think about it.'

“I mean, look at where all his attention is going,” she added. “Look at his tweets, look at the gold shoes, look at the campaign contributions — it’s all about his lawsuits.”

“How are you going to focus on the American people when you're completely distracted by your legal proceedings?” That's the point I want to make. “We can’t afford that,” Haley said.

“We can’t have a presidential candidate who constantly talks about the victim that he is and focuses on how he’s going to pay his legal fees and doesn’t focus on the American people.”

Trump's new sneakers were unveiled the day after a New York judge ordered him to pay $355 million in a civil fraud lawsuit alleging the Trump Organization inflated the value of its properties.
