Prince George joined his father Prince William on day four of the second Ashes test at Lord’s, London.

The nine-year-old young royal, dressed in a smart blazer and checked shirt, sat in the stands alongside the 41-year-old Prince of Wales and watched England take on Australia during the cricket series.

Equally smart father-of-three William wore a light blue jacket and stylish sunglasses while enjoying a day out with his eldest son.

The sports-loving duo seemed heavily focused on the action, with certain elements being pointed out by the heir to the British throne George, who often seemed to sport a very similar facial expression to his father’s.

The royals at Lord’s were also joined by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. On one occasion, the beaming politician appeared to be chatting with William and George after the latter was presented with a replica ash urn by Richard Thompson, chairman of the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board).

During a break in action, the young royal enjoyed a slice of pizza while William chatted with other guests in the box – including actor and comedian Stephen Fry, who shook hands with George.

The father-son duo looked like each other’s eyes – and even sipped on similar drinks at one point.

Commenters on social media also noted how similar the father and son looked as they both wore blue blazers and light colored shirts while England played Australia.

Both opted for a relaxed style with the top buttons undone. They were seen enjoying and discussing the game together, with William pointing out a number of moves to his eldest son.

William has previously attended football matches with his eldest, including to watch their beloved Aston Villa play and the Euro 2020 final at Wembley Stadium.

The couple were not joined by the 41-year-old Princess of Wales, eight-year-old Princess Charlotte and five-year-old Prince Louis.

Her appearance comes after Prince George was reportedly spotted last week visiting the boarding school where he could soon be a student.

His parents Prince William and Princess Kate, both 41, were seen on the campus of Eton College. Hello! magazine reported.

In a photo of the meeting shared by royal fans on social media, little George, who turns 10 this month, wore navy blue shorts, a short-sleeved shirt and black shoes while standing next to his father. He was also educated at the prestigious boarding school in Berkshire.

Meanwhile, Kate appeared to be repeating her £490 white and emerald green Cefinn shirt dress, which she had debuted a week earlier on a trip to Nuneaton to visit school.

The trio stood with a man and woman who appeared to be Eton College staff and chatted outside while huddled alongside a sign reading ‘The Porter’s Lodge’ and another sign reading ‘Entrance forbidden” was written.

Prince William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, 38, were both secondary school students at Eton College, with William enrolling in 1995.

Eton College currently quotes its tuition as £15,432 per half – where half means semester and three semesters in the school year.
