The Fed wanted banks to wait at least two days after the stress tests to announce their capital plans. After markets closed on Friday, JPMorgan Chase (ticker: JPM) announced that it would increase its quarterly payout to $1.05 per share from $1. Morgan Stanley (MS) increased its dividend from 77.5 cents to 85 cents per share. Wells Fargo (WFC) increased its payout by 5 cents to 35 cents per share. Goldman Sachs (GS) increased its quarterly dividend to $2.75 per share from $2.50. And Citigroup (C) increased its payout by 2 cents to 53 cents a share.

Every year the Fed tests the banking giants to see if their balance sheets are strong enough to withstand the severe stresses in the economy and financial markets. The results, released Wednesday, suggest that all 23 participating banks would have enough capital to absorb up to $541 billion in losses in a doomsday scenario, even if unemployment hits 10% and the stock market plummets 45% would collapse.

Bank stocks have underperformed the broader market of late as the collapse of some mid-sized banks earlier this year sparked widespread concerns about the overall health and stability of the sector.

The recent stress test has given the market renewed confidence and a nice boost to the group.

5 Skills That Turn Angry Ex Lovers Into Close Loving Friends

5 Skills That Turn Angry Ex-Lovers Into Close, Loving Friends

The secret to your healthiest, most peaceful life is making sure you create and maintain peace in every relationship.

Each of the thought leaders and gurus I’ve studied with have focused on the same point: In order to enjoy a peaceful life for ourselves, we must make peace with others.

Even when a challenging relationship ends, you will still benefit from restating your experiences.

RELATED: 6 Conditions You Must Meet Before You Can Be Friends With Your Ex

Here are four things to consider when reshaping a relationship

1. Get out of the emotional roller coaster ride

If your previous partner was dangerous, find inner peace so you can get out of the emotional roller coaster that only makes your suffering worse. This allows you to move forward with wisdom and attraction.

2. Find a solid emotional foundation

If love were a “one-way street” and we felt love’s deepest feelings, we might feel like we were being torn apart because of the vulnerability we allowed without making a safe landing. The extent of the loving connection we experienced When we realize that we are the only ones who have felt it, it could seem like the ground beneath our feet has changed. There is a choice we must make for our own spiritual and physical well-being, and that is to love, not hate.

3. Allow love into your life

Perhaps loving and then losing a partner has catapulted you into grief and anger, as it reactivates an old fight/flight/freeze cycle in PTSD that is a recipe for disaster. To live a joyful life, you must feel the love that is only possible when you master self-soothing and come back to your true self.

When we rage and run away, we lose ourselves in the emotional tornado that blows us away from reality until we’re stuck in the prison of guilt at our partner and ourselves.

4. Balance the emotional costs

Or maybe we were the ones who severed the connection. Were we so upset that we wanted to burn down the bridge to prevent access in the future? If so, it also robs us of inner peace. So before you “punish” a partner, think about the cost to yourself.

Instead of “throwing the baby out with the bath water” when we examine what brought us together and what separated us, in minutes we can identify the best options for us.

RELATED: How to Survive a Breakup When You Have Mutual Friends

Here’s how to make the friend zone fabulous

In the process, you must learn to raise your own awareness and calm yourself, which will allow you to avoid anger and extreme sadness no matter how your ex decides about the transition from lover to loving friend.

The future is unwritten, so every decision made today may change tomorrow. If you desire friendship, you must master your inner state and project peace. This may lead to a completely different decision in the future if your ex can adequately meet your needs.

RELATED: What Friendship With Your Ex Says About Your Marriage

Here are five skills that will help you go from angry ex-lover to lifelong friends

1. Stop projection

The Six Month Rule tells us that six months to a year before the actual breakup, you yourself were angry/anxious/sad and contemplating divorce or a breakup. Then, without consulting your partner, your actions or inactions triggered the next step until one of you finished it.

When clients tell me that a spouse “left suddenly without warning,” there’s always a period of time six months to a year ago when the partner who didn’t leave had those negative, divisive thoughts without discussing possible solutions , which would work for both of you . We have to ask ourselves, “Who actually left?”

Solution When you learn to calm yourself, whether through brain breathing, self-empathy, or other tools, you have the power to create your best life. However, if you suppress your negative emotions without examining them, they will creep up and stain your words and actions until love crumbles.

All you need to do to build a lifelong friendship is to peacefully and responsibly speak your truth, empathize with your former partner’s feelings and unmet needs, and seek ways to make amends for whatever you now know has hurt them has. This is how one of my clients saved $11 million on his divorce! Many others have fantastic friendships that bring joy and support from former lovers, partners, and spouses.

2. Conduct a triage

Separate the partners worth saving from those who were your mistake. Were you conscious or unconscious when entering into a relationship? If he or she saw you as an opportunity, was it mutual? Certain behaviors can make a difference in a marriage or a date, but as a friend, do you care how messy their home is or how often they help out with the chores? NO!

All the lifestyle choices that pulled you apart don’t matter anymore, and religion and politics may have been problematic when you contemplated starting a family together, but maybe his brilliant mind, humor and lifestyle are of yours Value. If “knowing and being known” is important to you, most of your exes might make desirable friends if they show kindness and compassion.

Solution – In each important relationship, clarify which needs have been met and which have not. If you find that about half of your needs have been met by the relationship but the others have not, it is said to be “torn up” and depending on your former lover’s behavior, you can stay in the relationship or give up. But what about the person who is almost exactly what you like?

When someone gets that close to your “perfect life partner checklist,” does it make sense to move into the friend zone? Only you can decide that.

The lovers you remember, the ones whose memories make you smile or laugh, or the ones who taught you the most usually make it through. During my 57 trips to India I learned about karma and reincarnation and it is said that the intensity of our feelings is not accidental but the result of many lifetimes.

The idea of ”families” of souls reincarnating over and over again as parents, lovers, children, and in other close relationships might provide some understanding of the tremendous magnetic pull you feel in few people.

3. Practice forgiveness

Once a relationship ends, we forgive our partner for the sake of our own health, thereby avoiding the misery and possible illnesses that often accompany long-term thoughts of revenge. Only when we master our mind are we strong and able to concentrate, attract and achieve our goals.

Solution As we observe these stories and transform them with the four questions of Inquiry, Peace, and Power, we begin to display the mood that will attract our next mate and the one we desire – rather than more drama and disappointment.

Notice the story you tell, such as “He didn’t deserve me” or “She should have loved me.” Here are the questions you ask to transform inner suffering into peace.

  • Is that true; yes, no, or maybe?
  • What evidence do I have that this is true? Imagine testifying in court before a judge, giving only facts/figures/dollars or numbers rather than feelings or ideas.
  • How do you feel when you have this thought? Give three words that describe your feelings, e.g. B. Anxious, angry, sad, heartbroken, hopeless, etc.
  • How will you feel without this thought? Give three examples such as peaceful, hopeful, and calm.

Turning is the secret to mastering your mind and there is always a more peaceful, powerful true story. Make it a habit to think like this. There are countless turning points. Here are a few:

“He doesn’t deserve me” can become “He deserves me” if you examine his behavior or “I don’t deserve him” if we’re honest with ourselves. For a Lifelong Learner: “When I learn to shut up before I speak, I build loving relationships with everyone.”

“She should have loved me more!” might turn to “I should have loved her more!”

4. Learn to motivate

Motivate Your lover or former partner to become your friend. List the benefits for your partner by considering what brought you together in the first place. If there’s more than just sexual attraction, what is it, and if friend with benefits is a goal for you, then include the great sex you’ve enjoyed as well. Exploring the benefits of reconnecting will be the “road to friendship.”

Related stories from YourTango:

Solution — Various needs that keep exes together as friends may include shared interests and activities, such as:

  • Sports
  • intellectual pursuits
  • creative hobbies
  • Spiritual Practices
  • Travel
  • voluntary work
  • politics

Clarify this list because it is the first step in a series of tests, emails, or conversations that will help you establish a new basis for your friendship.

5. Make a peace offering

When you started a relationship, it was easy to bring your partner closer and closer because you all hoped that the connection would bring benefits. What are you offering now? What will be interesting enough for your ex to start a real friendship?

I’ve had many long-term relationships with ex-boyfriends, and my 50th birthday party was attended by five of my ex-boyfriends. Here are some perks that various exes appreciate, and you’ll find that the same applies to you.

  • One enjoyed relationship coaching from me after our time together.
  • Another participated in years of transformational workshops that provided a shared worldview.
  • A third appreciated my ability to love, encourage, and support them no matter what they did or didn’t do.
  • A fourth appreciated being able to tell me anything without being judged.
  • A fifth enjoy staying in touch while other dear friends have passed away.

Solution You need to create inner peace before composing any message using the three paragraph system:

  • In the first sentence, do everything you can about your ex.
  • The second sentence is about your own feelings and needs.
  • This is a call to action proposing a call or meeting with a fun purpose for each of you.

If your ex accepts the offer, you need to stay present on any conflicting messages and refine your offer by framing it in a three-part message so you understand each other. Since you are ex-partners and no longer partners, you both realize that each other’s needs have not been adequately met for a lifelong partnership. Yet there is something genuine and valuable here.

With these steps, you will do your best to protect the connection and build a friendship to enjoy the deep level of connection and understanding that is possible. Imagine your life decades from now, enriched by the richness of many different friendships with former lovers and partners, each like a flower in a garden – different and beautiful in its own way.

1688201424 NBA Free Agency 2023 Keeping Kyrie Irving with the Mavericks

NBA Free Agency 2023: Keeping Kyrie Irving with the Mavericks was the only and best option – Yahoo Sports

It was the only option for the Dallas Mavericks, tired as they are.

It was the best option for Kyrie Irving, who got what he wanted despite believing he had very little impact.

The mistakes of the past have created the necessity of the present for both parties who must now embark on the struggle to build around Luka Dončić and Irving, hoping that they will be a good match and the other relevant parts will strengthen this solid partnership.

Irving’s three-year, $126 million deal isn’t on par with Damian Lillard (estimated at $60 million a year as of 2025–26) and is below what Fred VanVleet got from the Houston Rockets — a team which Irving is rumored to be attending in the coming days .

Salary increases for young players have surpassed Irving’s salary, and for those who remember another NBA it comes as a shock – the cap has nearly doubled since 2015-16 ($70 million to $136 million dollars in 2023/24).

Salaries have skyrocketed and will continue to rise for years to come, so the exorbitant amounts Houston and Dallas have been paying out won’t feel so bad any time soon.

When Dallas faced him, that was all Irving needed. Despite all the distractions and internal negotiations that come with having Irving on your team, his talent is undeniable.

Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks agreed to a three-year, $126 million contract extension, though Irving only played 20 games for the Mavs after taking over last season. (Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)

Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks agreed to a three-year, $126 million contract extension, though Irving only played 20 games for the Mavs after taking over last season. (Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)

And above all, Irving feels wanted. You can certainly argue that he’s not easy to hug, but the only thing Dallas has to say for itself is that Irving knows he’s not part of a package deal, that he won’t be tolerated, he’ll be embraced.

Maybe that’s half the battle, or at least a way to get the best possible results.

He’s more than the player who scored a shot on LeBron James’ team in the Finals seven years ago, more than a player who scored 41 in an elimination game of the same series. It’s hard to imagine given all that the Irving package entails, but he’s a better basketball player than the All-Star in 2016.

All that matters is that he keeps his feet on the ground and stays aligned with the goals of the team. With Irving, it’s never the same controversy, just different ones that are often unpredictable – his bingo list of cases that can cause him to miss games would look like the word “resourceful”.

But that’s exactly what he is with the ball, mesmerizing and mesmerizing. He and Dončić didn’t have much time on the pitch together last season, only ten games and the 3-7 record isn’t big enough to make any meaningful predictions about how things will play out.

In those 20 games in Dallas, Irving shot 51/39/94 and averaged 27 points a night with six assists — a feat that’s not easy to find, especially with the ball-dominating Dončić controlling more than a third of the ante.

There’s plenty of room for the duo to develop and more room for Jason Kidd to build a defense around these two offensive wizards, provided he has the staff to do so. Kidd wasn’t afraid to confront Irving then, pushed for the deal to go through, and remains undeterred now.

Irving’s record is his record, which also comes into play for the Mavericks. Irving is considered to be the most talented second star this franchise may have had. Steve Nash was not fully recognized as Dirk Nowitzki’s co-driver, and the only All-Star not named Dončić or Nowitzki in almost 20 years was Josh Howard in 2007 – and he was only offered the spot after injury.

From the squad of defenders and wingers Dončić has played with to Kristaps Porziņģis, there hasn’t been much luck matching Dončić with anyone.

But Irving was more than willing to take on the challenge. Perhaps it was his bitter departure from Brooklyn, a promising dream turning into a nightmare on Atlantic Ave. morphed, then into a sequel, then into yet another. Irving knows he can’t miss valuable opportunities.

That’s not to be confused with leverage, though — which Dallas admitted when they gambled the guts of a Western Conference finalist to sign him midway through last season.

If they played hard with Irving, they would have looked like Philly in the Southwest and wasted valuable time based on the franchise player’s running clock. The 76ers’ altercation with James Harden has created a possible standoff, considering the 76ers’ general manager Daryl Morey wasn’t keen on trading Stars for anything less than Stars — after Harden realized his double-digit pay cut wasn’t This favor will be returned this summer.

James Harden is hoping for a move from Philadelphia, but will it happen? (AP Photo/Matt Slocum)

James Harden is hoping for a move from Philadelphia, but will it happen? (AP Photo/Matt Slocum)

If Morey has the guts to drag out the Harden saga, it could cost him in the long run. He did that with Ben Simmons and got Harden out of the deal – but never made it past the second round.

Mavs owner Mark Cuban and general manager Nico Harrison knew that stupid plays would only lead to stupid prizes, and after deciding to take a chance against Irving given the sample size, they practically decided to go through with it.

Hold your breath on Irving and hope he becomes a consistent figure with stability and a franchise he knows wants him, not one that will tolerate him? Yes still. In addition to the subtle moves that took place on draft night and the deal with Seth Curry hours after Irving’s signing, there is still room for more moves.

But it’s better than the alternative to look for a way to ease Irving’s exit to a possible Western Conference contender who will surely make your life difficult.

You want to create an environment in which both sides know exactly what is at stake with open eyes. Both sides are aware that they get along better with each other than wandering in the wilderness without a forced agreement. And both sides are aware that success is based above all on trust.

People demonstrate outside the United States Supreme Court following the decision to overturn a landmark measure by Joe Biden on student debt, July 1, 2023. (CELAL GUNES / ANADOLU AGENCY / AFP)

These are two decisions that confirm his anchoring in the right area. The United States Supreme Court on Friday, June 30 for the first time authorized certain companies to ban LGBT+ customers, then voided a flagship measure by Joe Biden on student debt. The day before, the Supreme Court, which Donald Trump had fundamentally overhauled, had abolished the affirmative action policy at the university, one of the achievements of the civil rights struggle of the 1960s aimed at increasing diversity on campus.

>> US: Five questions on ending affirmative action in college admissions ruled by Supreme Court

Like a year ago, during the historic abortion reversal, these three judgments were made with the support of the six conservative judges against the opinion of the three progressive judges. Republicans warmly welcomed each of these decisions, while Democrats, led by Joe Biden, expressed strong disapproval.

“Millions of Americans are disappointed”

The President of the United States first said he was “very concerned” about the increased risk of discrimination against sexual minorities. However, he suffered the most painful setback because of student debt. At the start of the pandemic, Donald Trump’s administration froze repayments on these loans under a 2003 law that allows student debt holders “relief” in the event of a “national emergency.” This measure ends on August 31st. In anticipation of that deadline, Joe Biden announced in August that he would remove up to $20,000 from the list of middle-income borrowers.

The Supreme Court ruled that his administration exceeded its powers by passing this costly program without Congressional approval. “There are millions of Americans who are disappointed, discouraged and even a little angry about the shutdown, and I have to admit I am, too,” he said during a televised address. Joe Biden, who is counting on working-class support to win a new mandate in 2024, promptly announced a new plan to “unburden as many borrowers as possible and as quickly as possible”. This new plan will respect that ruling, the president said, and be based on a different text, the 1965 Higher Education Act.

Followed: Nigel Farage’s checking account is closed and no bank wants to open it for him. He risks having to go into exile economic scenarios

Despite winning the News Host of the Year award, Nigel Farage feels truly haunted at home.

In the clip below, she expresses her concern about a recent development that could have a significant impact on her future career and even on her ability to live in the UK.

The Brexiteer faces the sudden and inexplicable closure of his checking account and the refusal of other lenders to open one for him. This is despite the fact that he is a reliable person, has a large current account, has not been particularly quarrelsome since the 80s, and his overall income is stable and tax regular.

Farage suggests three possible reasons he was unable to obtain a bank account:

  • the EU definition of a politically exposed person (PEP),
  • Prejudice by corporate institutions e
  • the false allegations by a member of parliament regarding Russian government funds.

As a result, the former politician, now a successful radio commentator, became a non-person with extremely restricted rights, all at the behest of the financial institutions. We should be afraid of the fact that this civil death without a trial could happen to any of us. Here is the Twitter post in which Farage denounces all of this, and then the transcript of his speech.

Greetings.

Given that, you’d think I’m pretty happy – I mean, you know, the News Anchor of the Year award was pretty cool, and a huge thank you to all the people who voted for me.

The establishment was obviously appalled because they consider me incredibly unpopular in their little London bubble.

Maybe in Notting Hill, but not in the rest of the country.

But the truth is, I’m not full of spring cheer.

In the last two months I have been confronted with an issue that could seriously affect my future career and my ability to stay in this country.

I’ve worked for the same banking group since 1980. I have since had my personal accounts with them and my business accounts throughout the 1990’s when I was working in the City of London and also in recent years and at one of the branches of this large banking group – one with a very prestigious name.

But I don’t want to name it yet.

A few months ago I received a call saying we were closing his accounts.

I asked why, but received no explanation. I was told a letter would be coming explaining everything. The letter came and all it said was that we were closing his accounts – we want to close everything by a date which is more or less now.

I wasn’t quite sure what to think. I complained. I emailed the President. A man named Lackey called and said it was a business decision and I have to say I don’t believe it for a second.

So I thought, “Here, I have to find another bank.”

I’ve been to six banks, actually seven, and I’ve asked them all if I could have a private and a business account, and the answer was no in every single case.

There is nothing erratic or unusual about what I do – the payments coming in and going out each month are broadly the same. I have a fairly positive cash balance in my company account and I think at current interest rates that’s good enough for the bank.

Why is this happening to me?

Well, one explanation is this: A few years ago, the European Union came up with a definition of a person called “PEP” or “politically exposed person”.

This is a person who can rise from Prime Minister to City Council. I think the reason was “if people in politics were open to corruption”, “if foreign governments, from Ukraine or China or elsewhere, could pour money into the accounts of corrupt politicians”.

So somehow I get it and I get it.

But it’s all about interpretation, isn’t it? And what the banks argue is that holding an account for a PEP leads to increased compliance costs.

I have spoken to the city minister of that country and it is hoped that this definition of the EU – which has been adopted into UK legislation – can be toned down a bit, but we’ll see.

But of course, any bank, any organization can choose how they want to interpret a “PEP” and if they want the account, they can do it according to their liking.

To my knowledge, I don’t think anyone in the political world has been treated the way I have been.

But the banks themselves are part of the big corporate structures in this country: these are the organizations that didn’t want Brexit and I think in my case the corporate world will probably never forgive me because they know that if I didn’t what I did with the help of thousands of people from our People’s Army, there would never have been a referendum, let alone a victory.

I’m the one who has to take the blame.

That’s the second possible reason why I can’t have a bank account: the prejudices that emanate from our institutions.

But I think there is a third reason.

A few months ago, Sir Chris Bryant, Chairman of the Privileges Committee, claimed in the House of Commons, on the basis of parliamentary privileges, that I received large sums of money directly from the Russian Government, stating the calendar year in which this had happened.

The truth is that I have not received a dime from any source even remotely related to Russia. Still, since he said it, it’s valid.

I wrote to the speaker demanding an apology but Sir Chris Brown did nothing.

I wonder if that isn’t the cause of my problem.

I hired a very good law firm in London. I’m making a series of data access requests to the international agencies and the bank that wants to shut me down to find out what’s worrying me.

But think about it: without a bank account, you become a virtual non-person. You don’t really exist. It’s like the worst regimes of the mid-20th century – in Russia or Germany – you literally become a non-person.

And you don’t have it anymore – you had it in the past – but you no longer have the right to have a bank account.

There is now an opportunity to find a means of receiving and disbursing funds through a fintech company, which could be a lifeline of sorts. But it’s not a bank account because I can’t earn interest on my cash balance, borrow money when I need it whenever I need it, or take out a mortgage when I want–I’m completely denied that.

I can’t link a debit card directly to my account. I will not be able to exist and function in 21st century modern Britain.

I’ll tell you more about my decision on GB News tonight at 7pm, but I’m starting to think life in the UK may be becoming totally unbearable because of the prejudice against me. I’ll tell you more about my thoughts tonight at seven on GB News.

"He was in very bad pain"says Talina Fernández’s boyfriend after the driver’s death

José Manuel Fernández Borbolla was Talina Fernández’s partner and stayed with the driver until the last moment of her life. Talina lived her romance with José Manuel to the fullest and showed that there is no age for love.

After the painful loss of Talina, José Manuel told in a few words what the last moments of the journalist who died at the age of 78 were like.

Talina Fernández

Talina was released at her residence south of Mexico City, where television personalities such as Angélica María, Chantal Other and Andrés Tovar, among others, were present.

What did Talina Fernández’s boyfriend say after the driver’s death?

José Manuel was the last man Talina loved more than anything and with whom she shared the last moments of her life. Visibly moved, after a relationship of more than a year and a half, he recounted the time he had spent with the driver and reminisced about his last days.

Talina’s boyfriend expressed the great love he feels for Mariana Levy’s mother and what he suffered before his death. “It was the best thing that has happened to me in my life. The only thing is that I can thank God that he was already resting, he was in a lot of pain. I think she was screaming in pain for a week when we got to the hospital, they started giving her painkillers but they had to go from less to more and she was screaming.

José said that the driver was in severe pain the night before Talina’s death. “She was so sick, it was my turn all night, it was impressive that she couldn’t find her position all night, she sat, lay down, turned over… the suffering was appalling, I would.” don’t wish it on anyone.

London: Fighting over the Ukrainian Bridge near Kherson

According to British estimates, the Ukrainian military created a beachhead on the east bank of the Dnipro in southern Ukraine. For about a week, the Ukrainians have been bringing troops close to the destroyed Antonivka Bridge, near Kherson, to the east bank, the British Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his nightly video on Friday that the Ukrainian counter-offensive is progressing well.

“Fighting for the beachhead will almost certainly be complicated by flooding, destruction and mud debris following the destruction of Kachowka Dam on 6 June 2023,” the London statement said. Among the Russian troops are units of the 7th Guards Air Assault Division, which belongs to Army Group Dnipro.

“In recent weeks, Russia has most likely moved parts of Army Group Dnipro defending the banks of the Dnipro to reinforce the front in Zaporizhia,” said the British Ministry of Defense’s daily briefing on the course of the war. Moscow accuses London of disinformation.

“Ukraine and Ukrainians are much stronger than anyone expected of us, sometimes stronger than we thought we would be,” Zelensky said in his video message every night on Friday. The country showed Ukraine’s strength in the fight against Russian invaders around the world.

In the speech, Zelenskyy recalled the recapture of Snake Island in the Black Sea a year ago. “It was one of our most important victories.” This not only regained control of the island, but also a significant part of the Black Sea. “Russian terrorists needed Snake Island to destroy the entire south of the country, our beautiful Odessa and other cities.” They were unsuccessful.

Once again Zelenskyy paid tribute to the various units of the Ukrainian armed forces and named a large number of fighters who gave their lives for Ukraine’s victory. Zelenskyi again said Ukraine was making progress in its counter-offensive. “We’ve made progress in all directions with our active actions.”

Strengthening artillery in the south and east “obviously has priority,” Zelensky said. He also thanked Denmark for a new defense package, including artillery, anti-aircraft missiles and mine clearance equipment. Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian invasion with Western help for over 16 months.
