Things are looking bad for the five passengers on board the Titan who are to explore the wreck of the Titanic. However, that doesn’t stop the stepson of one of the missing men from flirting with an Onlyfans model on his Twitter page.

Hamish Harding is a British billionaire among the passengers aboard the OceanGate Titan, the submersible that lost communications two hours after its dive on Sunday. Harding’s stepson Brian Szasz has been very active on social media since the story broke.

On the day the sub went missing, Harding’s stepson Brian Szasz was spotted at the Blink 182 concert in San Diego.

Szasz shared photos and posts addressing his controversial decision to attend the concert despite the absence of the submarine with his stepfather.

On Wednesday, the man urged his followers to send positive thoughts to his family, writing: “Please keep my family in your prayers!”

About 30 minutes later, however, her attention turned to Onlyfans model Brea, who posted a picture of herself in a bikini with the caption, “Can I sit on your face.”

Brian reposted it and replied, “Yes please.”

Of course, Brian’s page’s comments section burst into flames. People outraged by his behavior on social media during his stepfather’s disappearance particularly commented on his lack of judgment.

The man was repeatedly attacked by netizens and subsequently closed his Twitter page.

“The Artists [autochtones] They put all their heart and intuition into their music, while it’s more likely to be found among non-locals,” he said minutes after his performance.

“I got on straight away as Mélanie [Vincent] told me about the project,” he told the Journal.

Mr Fiori performed the final chorus of the harmonium group’s song ‘One Musician Among Many Others’ while his companions from the province’s 11 Aboriginal nations took care of the verses in their language. All artists stayed on stage for an encore.

From the first notes, you could feel the excitement in the eyes of the famous Quebec singer.

“As soon as the drums start, I start moving, I’m not there anymore,” said Mr. Fiori, giving leeway to his compatriots in the cover of his group’s classic. “In the first verse, I wanted you to describe what it means to give your nation a voice. It had to mean something,” he explains.

Among the spectators was Émile Bilodeau. The singer – who is currently facing criticism for his politicized statements – feels the timing and location of the performance were well chosen.

The GéoLAGON project is cut in half in Charlevoix and costs for other villages are exploding

Project promoter Louis Massicotte is halving its GéoLAGON project in Charlevoix and now estimates that the four villages it plans to build in Quebec could total up to $1.75 billion, 60% more than it had anticipated.

• Also read: A mysterious British financial institution would grant GéoLAGON $1 billion

• Also read: New trap for the Charlevoix GéoLAGON

In an email exchange with Le Journal last week, Louis Massicotte explained that he would need between $325 million and $500 million to construct each GéoLAGON site, depending on the number of housing units planned.

Barely a few days later, he changed his mind and settled on Charlevoix for $250 million.

The hotel version of GéoLAGON in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, with corridors connecting the units to the lagoon and up to three floors high.

PHOTO PROVIDED BY GeoLAGON

At the end of April, the promoter estimated the total project to be between $1 billion and $1.14 billion for the four villages it plans to establish in Charlevoix, Lanaudière, Laurentians and Estrie.

He also claimed that he had already secured this sum thanks to a partnership with a British institute ($1 billion) and French investor Kyotherm ($140 million).

Remodeled project

The developer now announces that the Petite-Rivière-Saint-François project will be significantly modified to conform to the development, converting it from 600 gates with a 120,000 square meter heated lagoon to a 290-unit lagoon hotel.

The hotel version of GéoLAGON in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, with corridors connecting the units to the lagoon and up to three floors high.

“We have planned two village models, one in a hotel version in a single building (all chalets are connected by glazed corridors) and the other in a group version of rental chalets,” he wrote to us last week.

He is now opening the door to the construction of three-storey rental chalets, whereas he has always proposed two-storey buildings for these “pavilion chalets”.

On the GeoLAGON website, Louis Massicotte continues to collect pre-reservations just for the double chalet project with a $5,000 deposit.

The “projected” retail price ranges from $599,000 to $1.5 million, depending on the unit.

No permit application

As of this writing, however, nothing is certain about what investors might one day buy. Because no municipality has officially given the green light for the project.

And even if Louis Massicotte reiterates on all platforms that he will certainly formalize two of his four GéoLAGON villages in the target areas by the end of the month, our checks show a completely different reality.

No permit was requested in Lanaudière, but meetings were held in St-Côme.

In Estrie, on May 5th, Louis Massicotte announced the arrival of his project in the Bromont-Granby sector in the local newspaper.

The proponent claims to have made rapprochements with Bromont. However, the town hall claims to have had no contact with him.

As for the Laurentians, on May 10, Louis Massicotte announced on his Facebook page that the planned GeoLAGON in Sainte-Adèle, the only place where he owns land, has no longer taken place.

The project sponsor held talks with the municipality in autumn 2021.

“But nothing serious or structured came out of it.” We didn’t hear anything about it after that,” says Mayor of Sainte-Adèle, Michèle Lalonde.

Louis Massicotte then announced that the project would go to the Mont Tremblant sector, much to the surprise of the Economic Development Corporation of the MRC des Laurentides, who heard the news in a local newspaper on May 12.

“He seems to be walking around looking for the first person to raise his hand,” says Paul Calcé, the company’s general manager, adding that no request was made to local authorities.

Without batting an eyelid, Louis Massicotte says he is still certain “to define by the end of the month the first two regions that will be able to host the first two villages,” he wrote to us.

Remember that the Charlevoix MRC has frozen all developments in the forest zone, which prevents the formalization of a project in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François for the time being. Louis Massicotte says he has a plan B in Saint-Tite-des-Caps.

The project of the year… with 14 others

The promoter emphasizes in his interviews that his GeoLAGON project was named “Initiative of the Year” worldwide by winning a sustainability award in 2022, which would have brought him media coverage in 30 languages.

The marketing man never says that in 2022 there were 14 other companies that won in the same category.

The Philadelphia-based Business Intelligence Group (BIG) presented 104 sustainability awards in 2022, including 15 for Initiative of the Year.

Called for response, Louis Massicotte reiterates that he was unaware that so many other projects were also being rewarded. “Bravo to all,” he commented.

The BIG is a company specializing in organizing various business competitions. Revenue comes from registrations: $799 for each registration.

Who is Takefusa Kubo, the Japanese star who ditched the Peru jersey and how much is he worth?

Beyond the rich final result, one of the striking themes from the Japan vs Peru friendly preview was the difference in the market value of both teams. Gianluca Lapadula, the most expensive Peruvian player of the last round, surpasses only seven of the entire Japanese team. The blue samurai have several players in top leagues in Europe and one of the most prominent is the young man Takefusa Kubo. At just 22, he has been part of the Old Continent’s elite for more than a season.

Although Kubo made headlines in Peru, largely for leaving the jersey he swapped with Alexander Callens on the pitch, the truth is that he is a player who has been in the football world limelight since he was a child. Takefusa Kubo is one of the young Japanese talents who already have international contacts at the most important national team tournaments, including the last World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

YOU CAN SEE: Who is Kaoru Mitoma, the Japanese who danced to Peru and said it was a “weak selection”?

Who is Takefusa Kubo?

Takefuso Kubo was born on June 4, 2006 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He gained notoriety from a young age as, at the age of 10, he traveled from one continent to another to be part of La Masía del Barcelona. The young Japanese was forced to leave the club due to the sanction Barça received from FIFA in 2015. There he began preparing for the leap into professional football at FC Tokyo.

Takefusa Kubo played his first season in Japan’s third division with Tokyo FC reserves when he was just 15 years old. He made his J1 League debut on November 26, 2017, when he played in the 2-1 defeat by Sanfraecce Hiroshima on Matchday 33. The promising winger solidified in 2019, the season in which he also made his first call-up. Japan’s senior team has just turned 18.

YOU CAN SEE: What happened to Jan Hurtado, the promising Venezuelan who finished as the U20 World Champion?

Takefusa Kubo and the leap to Spanish football

Takefusa Kubo’s glorious return to Europe for the first time since growing up at La Masía came in 2019. Real Madrid bought him from FC Tokyo as they see him as one of the most promising youngsters in world football. Despite this, Kubo never managed to debut in the first team. Madrid loaned him to Mallorca, Getafe and Villareal where, except for the Pirates, he was mainly a substitute.

After a final season with Mallorca in LaLiga, Takefusa Kubo returned from loan and was sold to Real Sociedad. Although there was speculation at the time that Real Madrid would keep a buyback option for him, he ultimately distanced himself completely and only had one preferential option for the young Japanese for the next five years. In his first season, Kubo shone as a regular and qualified with his team for the Champions League.

How much is Takefusa Kubo worth?

According to Transfermarkt, Takefusa Kubo has a current market value of around 25 million euros. That puts him five million euros above the peak he’s reached in his career to date, when he returned to Madrid from his first loan in mid-2020. The Japan winger had a dip in his numbers when he left the Whites but a great season at Real Sociedad has put him back on top.

The legendary luxury retailer in New York could be sold given its weakening financial position

Legendary New York store Bergdorf Goodman is reportedly exploring options to sell just three years after it was bailed out of bankruptcy.

High-end retailer Neiman Marcus is reportedly considering selling the swanky 5th Avenue store — and potentially the entire business — after reportedly growing concerned about its flagging financial situation.

Top executives will meet potential buyers in the Big Apple this week.

Dallas-based Neiman is also reportedly exploring a possible auction of the entire company due to a conflict that arose after saving the retailer from bankruptcy at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in September 2020.

Some investors reportedly want out, while others believe the company could have a brighter future.

“There’s a civil war going on between the ownership group,” a source told the New York Post. “Neiman Marcus has had a very bad year and minority shareholders have lost confidence in the business plan and management.”

However, owners fear that the sale of Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus’ most valuable property, could reduce the company’s overall value.

The New York store, which was founded in 1899 and permanently settled on glamorous Fifth Avenue in 1928, sells designer clothing from brands such as Prada, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana.

“The crown jewel will always find a buyer, but I think Neiman will lose most of its value if Bergdorf goes away,” an insider told the outlet. “Saks and Neiman are considered equals.” “The differentiator for Neiman has always been Bergdorf.”

London-based luxury retailers Harrods and Selfridges are reportedly considered potential bidders for the New York stores.

“We do not comment on rumors or speculation,” Neiman Marcus said in a statement.

This comes after Geoffroy van Raemdonck, CEO of Neiman Marcus, was accused of “snobbery” by his staff after he said the luxury chain will focus on the company’s wealthiest customers because they generate the bulk of its sales.

“A lot of customers shop at Neiman Marcus 25 times a year and spend $27,000,” he told Fortune in February. “I see a much greater risk in a one off transaction where I don’t know if you’ll ever come back.”

In 2020, he was also criticized for flaunting his Dallas mansion in an 11-page magazine page amid the bankruptcy saga that came with staff furloughs and pay cuts.

Although van Raemdonck vowed to forego his entire salary, it later emerged that the CEO and other top executives could receive up to $9.9 million under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Neiman Marcus is among the growing list of companies battling the so-called retail apocalypse sweeping the US.

As of 2021, nearly 5,000 stores from major brands including Target, Best Buy, Sears, Foot Locker and CVS have already closed their doors, and thousands more are expected to close across the country in the coming years.

Investment bank UBS warned earlier this year that 50,000 stores would close by 2027, warning that “the pace of store closures will accelerate due to the combination of a slowdown in consumer spending, a reduction in credit availability and a surge in branch penetration.” Ecommerce.’

One of the biggest high-profile stores to file for bankruptcy this year is Bed Bath & Beyond – which has closed 50,000 stores nationwide.

San Francisco has been hit particularly hard by closures as more retailers move out of the city’s downtown area due to rising crime.

Arms escalation in Israeli-Palestinian conflict further embroils US – The Washington Post

Comment on this storyComment

TEL AVIV — In a week when US-made helicopter gunships shelled a Palestinian town and Israeli settlers rampaged through a village full of American citizens, the Biden administration finds itself mired in a rapidly escalating conflict.

Both sides are also introducing new and more powerful weapons and tactics reminiscent of the all-out war of the second intifada more than 20 years ago, when Israel reoccupied large parts of the West Bank.

For months, the White House, which has been mired in an ongoing diplomatic crisis with the far-right Israeli government, has expressed concern over rising violence in the West Bank, where Israel is confronted with increasingly effective Palestinian militants that its forces have been fighting This week it comes to long street battles.

Israeli settlers riot in a Palestinian village after Hamas fired on them

On Monday, an Israeli pre-dawn raid in Jenin quickly escalated into a highly unusual eight-hour gunfight, during which Israel had to use Apache helicopters to extricate its under-fire soldiers from the city after street bombs trapped them in the city. The vicious circle continued when the next day, in retaliation, two Hamas armed fighters killed four Israelis in the West Bank.

On Wednesday, 400 armed settlers rampaged through Turmus Ayya, a West Bank city that the city’s mayor said is 85 percent Palestinian-US dual citizen. The settlers set fire to dozens of houses, cars and orchards and shot at civilians. A Palestinian was killed by Israeli police as clashes broke out.

Later that night, in another rare move, Israel announced that it had used drones to kill three members of a Palestinian “terror cell” for the first time since 2006. Settlers from the hard-line settlement of Yitzhar also cut power lines to the Palestinian village of Ourif, the hometown of the two Hamas armed fighters.

“All hell is going to break loose in the near future,” said Alon Pinkas, a former Israeli consul in New York, adding that an Israeli-Palestinian escalation is “the last thing the Biden administration wants to deal with.”

The last time the United States engaged meaningfully in the region was in 2014, when then Secretary of State John F. Kerry oversaw the collapse of negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. At the 2016 Saban Forum, an annual gathering of senior Israeli and American politicians, Kerry said he found the views of some right-wing Israeli leaders “disturbing” and said they had deliberately sabotaged efforts to negotiate a deal.

4 Israelis are killed by Palestinian gunmen as violence mounts in the West Bank

But as violence across the West Bank mounts in both ferocity and sophistication — and the number of U.S. citizens on both sides of the divide — the United States may be forced to resume some level of engagement.

Israel, which is under the far-right, most settler-friendly government in the country’s history, appears poised to annex the West Bank, home to three million Palestinians, as part of the stated goal of a two-state solution.

“We continue to work directly with our Israeli partners and the Palestinian Authority to advance steps to promote de-escalation,” U.S. State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said in a news conference on Wednesday, speaking after the U.S. weapons presence recently asked about battles in which both militants and civilians were killed.

However, former Israeli consul Pinkas said the United States may soon have to abandon these platitudes as Israeli far-right politicians, who have openly called for collective punishment of civilians as part of a deterrence strategy, gain greater influence over military and civilian policies in 2019 west bank

On Monday, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who also holds a special position at the Defense Ministry, called on Israel to launch a full-scale anti-terrorist operation involving the Israeli Air Force to root out “the nests of terrorism” in the northern West Bank and surrounding densely populated cities.

When asked in an interview with the public broadcaster Kan whether he and his fellow politicians had pushed for the drone attack on Wednesday evening, Yitzhak Kroizer, a member of the far-right Jewish Power party, said: “We are pleased that our demands have been met.” be fulfilled.”

Hundreds of Palestinian Americans living in the West Bank, many in groups near the city of Ramallah, say the United States has an obligation to do more to protect its people as they fight against both the Israeli army and a growing number of armed Israeli settlers are stepping up to intimidate them out of their land.

“Why should my tax money fund the Israeli government that is killing American citizens?” said Tamer Naser Jbaraha, a Dallas resident whose cousin Omar Ketin, a US green card holder, was killed by Israeli forces in Turmus Ayya on Wednesday.

“As an American citizen, it is my duty and obligation to defend my country, so my country has an obligation to protect me wherever I go,” said Jbaraha, who is married to a US citizen. He said he and his family were in Turmus Ayya for the summer holidays, but his four children were traumatized by the experience of the settlers burning down their house and, out of insecurity, planned to return home as soon as possible.

“We need more pressure from the US government, which can order Israel to stop building settlements and stop arms shipments,” said Wasef Erekat, a Palestinian military analyst in Ramallah.

He said ongoing Israeli military attacks, focused on Jenin, have helped militant groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad and smaller local battalions recruit in unprecedented numbers and encouraged them to develop new weapons and tactics, such as manufacturing homemade bombs, etc. explosives. They also learn from the older fighters of the second Intifada period about the techniques of laying ambushes before Israeli military attacks and about traveling individually to avoid detection.

“The fighters now believe that the only way to confront the Israelis is to fight them and they are encouraged by Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich who say there is no chance for Palestinians to live here,” Erekat said, referring to Israel’s two most prominent hard-line ministers – also zealous settler activists.

A senior Israeli military official said the raids over the past year and a half have become “longer and more complicated” due to the growing complexity of the Palestinians, making some sort of large-scale operation more likely, which analysts say could take the form of the reoccupation of Jenin.

Miri Eisin, a former senior Israeli intelligence officer, said the possibility should not be underestimated and that if it did happen, it would likely be a protracted affair with a high death toll.

“The occupation of Jenin, this low-technology but fortified arena, will have far-reaching implications for the West Bank, Gaza, Israel and even beyond,” she said, adding that Hezbollah, the Iran-backed group in Lebanon, might offer a chance to get involved.

“There will be no end,” she warned.

Backstage Update on Current Plans for WWE MITB Winner, Logan Paul’s Involvement

Logan Paul holds the Money in the Bank case.

WWE

WWE’s annual Money in the Bank premium live event is fast approaching as the company heads to London on July 1st. As always, there is plenty of excitement about who will walk out with the Money in the Bank briefcase in hand to secure a future world title.

PWInsider reported Thursday that Logan Paul is slated for the men’s ranked match, so his late addition to Monday’s WWE Raw doesn’t reflect any last-minute creative changes in that regard.

Although the magazine hasn’t heard of any concrete plans for the men’s winner, there are people behind the scenes pushing for LA Knight to make his breakthrough. Knight seems to be impressing both fans and executives with his performances and crowd reactions lately, despite some inconsistent bookings before and after his high-profile feud with Bray Wyatt earlier this year.

Regarding the winner of the women’s Money in the Bank competition, PWInsider has repeatedly heard that IYO SKY is a front-runner. As always in WWE, plans can change from moment to moment until it actually happens, especially with Vince McMahon involved again.

SKY had a breakthrough year of her own as a former two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Dakota Kai. She held her own against Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 39 before challenging Bianca Belair for the “Raw” Women’s Championship at WWE Backlash. Tensions have been rising between SKY and her Damage CTRL teammate, Bayley, since she was drafted onto SmackDown.

As things stand, the men’s ranked match will feature Paul, Knight, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Santos Escobar, Damian Priest and Butch. There are currently six contestants in the women’s ladder match, including SKY, Stratus, Lynch, Bayley, Zoey Stark and Zelina Vega.
