The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is alarmed by the tense situation surrounding Ukraine’s Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. The situation is becoming more and more unpredictable and the risk of danger at the Russian-occupied nuclear power plant is increasing, IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said late on Saturday. “I am extremely concerned about the very real security risks,” he warned in a status report. “We must act now to prevent an imminent serious nuclear accident.”
The pro-Moscow administration in the Zaporizhia region announced evacuations on Friday, including the town of Enerhodar, where most of the nuclear power plant’s personnel live. According to Grossi, employees are still on site, but the situation is still becoming “increasingly tense, stressful and challenging” for them and their families. According to the IAEA, permanent stress can lead to errors and accidents in nuclear power plants.
Grossi again called for an agreement between Ukraine and Russia to protect the nuclear power plant from attack. Originally, Moscow was optimistic about the plan, while Kiev was skeptical because it did not foresee a Russian withdrawal from the plant, as the German Press Agency learned from European diplomatic circles. As Kiev had recently taken a more positive stance, but at the same time asked the Russians to withdraw, Russia was seen as less likable.
A Ukrainian counteroffensive is expected in the near future. One possibility is a military advance in the Zaporizhia region towards the coast of the Sea of Azov.
On Saturday night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy formulated the goal of freeing all compatriots captured by Russia. “We must and will bring back all our people from Russian captivity,” Zelenskyy said in his evening video speech. It is not known how many Ukrainians and how many Russians are being held on the other side more than 14 months after the start of the war.
Another prisoner exchange between the two warring parties had already been announced on Saturday. According to consistent information, three Russian Air Force pilots and 45 Ukrainian soldiers were released.
Asus takes a big step towards the custom keyboard market with the ROG Azoth, a wireless high-end model in 75% format. On paper it’s probably one of the best keyboards out there.

The Asus ROG Azoth gaming keyboard is… different than the GG Ironclad V2 reviewed a few weeks ago. This new model aims to introduce the world of custom keyboards to the general public while offering an extremely complete service.
It is characterized by its relatively rare 75% format, but above all by Asus’ work on the acoustics and the typing feel. On the menu: lubricated and replaceable mechanical switches, three-layer soundproofing and the delivery of a complete lubricating kit.
For the rest it is a wireless keyboard with an OLED screen similar to that of SteelSeries, with triple connectivity and a very premium price positioning. In fact, this new model is offered at the prohibitive price of 290 euros.
A solid and perfectly assembled keyboard
The ROG Azoth surprises with its 75% format right out of the box. In contrast to the 65% models we’ve already touched, this layout keeps the top row of keys and separates the directional arrows and the four additional keys located on the right more clearly. Despite this compact format, it impresses with its relatively high weight of almost 1.2 kg, which ensures rock-solid stability.
Source: Edouard Patout for Frandroid
The assembly quality is also right and there is nothing to complain about at this point. The chassis is built on a hard plastic base on which an imposing anthracite-colored metal plate is mounted. The switches are positioned slightly recessed to facilitate the integration of acoustic elements and to limit the overall thickness of the keyboard.
Asus hasn’t decided to offer PBT keys on this model yet, so you’ll have to settle for the traditional ABS. Still, we like the use of two different tints for the modifiers, which gives the ROG Azoth a slightly more original look. RGB lighting is of course part of it and all characters are perfectly cut.

Despite its small format, the ROG Azoth has some additional appendages, including a customizable OLD screen, which we’ll get to later, and a steering wheel, which is also customizable. Although it is less accessible than in competing models, it is much more discreet and perfectly integrated.
Overall, the design of the ROG Azoth is successful. More discreet and versatile than the brand’s other models, the keyboard benefits above all from excellent assembly quality. It’s just missing a palm rest and PBT buttons to be perfect. Finally, its weight can also be a nuisance, despite the benefits it brings.
Source: Edouard Patout for Frandroid
The keyboard is charged via a USB-C port on the left rear of the case. On the right side, the ROG Azoth houses a slot for the USB dongle and a three-position switch for selecting the operating mode. The latter is accessible and allows you to switch between the two connection modes without thinking.
Finally, the underside of the chassis houses two retractable pads with two positions, thus allowing three different inclinations. Due to its thickness and lack of a palm rest, we found it more comfortable to use the Azoth at its default incline.
Source: Edouard Patout for Frandroid
ROG Azoth also comes with a comprehensive Switch maintenance and lubrication kit. As these are interchangeable, three spare (or training) switches are provided. There is also a plate for placing the switches during maintenance and a tool for disassembly.
Finally, the brand also supplies the tools to extract the keycaps, as well as a second one to extract the switches from the keyboard. If indeed they are lubricated from the factory, the user can do it themselves with the lube and brush included in the kit.
Source: Edouard Patout for Frandroid
We applaud Asus’ approach with this kit. This is a first for a “general public” brand taking the initiative to bring the joys of custom mechanical keyboards to a necessarily well-informed public. We hope this doesn’t become a dry run and that other manufacturers will start while slowly bringing the price down for this particular hobby.
Very complete functionalities thanks to Armory Crate
The ROG Azoth uses the usual shortcuts built into its buttons and accessible with the Fn key. So you can easily switch between the different profiles, adjust the lighting or even activate the traditional “Stealth” mode, which immediately collapses all windows and mutes the sound of the system.
Some of these functions are also accessible via the integrated OLED display. The main button then toggles between the different settings and the dial is used to change them. In particular, we find the management of the volume, the control of the media and a customization of the RGB lighting.
Armory Crate then gives us more wiggle room to customize the screen. Various animations are proposed and the user can add their own as well as simple images. A personalized banner can also be added with the text of our choice. The keyboard can also show details about the song being played and add a visualizer to it. Finally, a system information module is present and customizable. As so often, these different features are more of a gadget than a real revolution.
More interesting: The wheel is also customizable. Apart from the previously mentioned settings, its three actions can be assigned to functions or shortcuts of our choice. Therefore, in certain software, it may be useful to quickly access the zoom or other relevant actions. However, we would have wished for the wheel to be positioned to the left of the keyboard for this type of use.
Azoth-specific features aside, Armory Crate offers full keyboard key customization with plenty of features. Likewise, the lighting is fully editable with various animations, while offering the ability to create your own effects with Aura Creator.
All the settings presented so far can be saved in profiles. These take on their full meaning as soon as they are associated with games and applications to take advantage of automatic switching depending on the use case. On the other hand, some of the functions, especially those related to the screen, require the software to be installed and running in order to work.
autonomy and connectivity
Almost standard: The ROG Azoth is equipped with triple connectivity. The demanding gamer will prefer the 2.4 GHz wireless connection and can be satisfied with Bluetooth for more traditional applications. Finally, it is still possible to use the wired keyboard when the battery is dead or there is no other choice.
Source: Edouard Patout for Frandroid
Wired and 2.4GHz wireless, the Azoth is both finger and eye responsive. We didn’t encounter any latency or any particular issue during our two-week testing. These two weeks were also an opportunity to measure the keyboard’s autonomy, announced by the manufacturer for 2,000 hours. It is difficult for us to measure this value precisely, but we can assure you that after two weeks of daily use, the battery is still above 60%, indicating excellent autonomy!
An extremely qualitative blow
ROG Azoth has been flawless so far and doesn’t intend to stop there. The brand has bet everything on the typing experience to get closer to the best: custom keyboards. Our test model is therefore equipped with red ROG NX switches, i.e. linear. The activation point is 1.8mm, requiring an activation force of 40g. On paper, these are very responsive switches.
Source: Edouard Patout for Frandroid
The lubricating work is quickly noticeable in the first few minutes of impact. The travel of the switches is very fluid and this adds to the sense of responsiveness of the whole. Especially the additional keys and the space bar underline the acoustic work of the keyboard the most. We therefore find this satisfactory and qualitative blow.
The chassis also has a lot to do thanks to the acoustic optimization carried out by Asus. This is noticeable in the ear by a complete freedom from resonance when typing. The only thing that can clearly be heard is the click of the keys at the end of the race. When it comes to typing, the ROG Azoth performs better than all of its competitors except for the Ironclad V2, which doesn’t play on the same court.
Source: Edouard Patout for Frandroid
Logically, the experience in the game does not differ from that observed in writing. The Azoth is very responsive, very fluid and really comfortable to use. It has been tested with several titles including Call Of Duty. The switches also offer an effective rebound, which further perfects the typing experience by quickly linking actions.
If we had to find a fault compared to other models of the brand, we would criticize the stability of its keys. Still, on this point, it’s no worse than any of its competitors based on Cherry switches. In short, we hope that one day an Azoth with ROG RX switches will arrive.
Asus ROG Azoth keyboard price and release date
The Asus ROG Azoth gaming keyboard is available at the recommended price of 290 euros.
The Pennsylvania State Police in the United States are investigating a strange case that happened recently. According to authorities, a 23yearold woman faked her own kidnapping to cover up her college dropout.
The accused is Chloe Stein, 23, who decided to drop out of school shortly before graduating from high school. To avoid the family’s judgment, she allegedly faked her own kidnapping.
Chloe was arrested last Tuesday (2) and will stand trial for the crimes of false alarm to a public safety agency, false report, administrative obstruction and disorderly conduct.
understand the case
The case began when Chloe’s boyfriend contacted the girl’s family after being unable to reach them for the past few days. The former student’s family then called the police and a largescale manhunt was launched.
Shortly after the search began, Chloe Stein’s car was found abandoned on Radebaugh Road near North Greengate Road, leaving her family and boyfriend distraught and police on high alert.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Department, an extensive search effort was made, including the use of helicopters and sniffer dogs in the area where the young woman’s car was found.
After a long search, police arrived at a home in the town of Jeannette, also in Pennsylvania, where they found Chloe Stein completely safe and at ease. The young woman was then taken to the nearest police station for questioning.
When questioned by officers, Chloe said she was taken to the Jeannette home by a man dressed as a police officer and that he was carrying a firearm. The woman also said the kidnapper blindfolded her and took her on the way to the property.
However, Chloe’s version was challenged by parallel investigations which suggested the young woman had dropped out of her course at Penn State University, raising suspicions.
“We found out she hadn’t been to college for a while, about two years. She was about to graduate when she dropped out,” police said in a statement to local press.
When finally confronted with these facts, Chloe admitted that she dropped out of college and therefore faked the situation to evade the judgment of her family and friends.
“The fact that it seems she hasn’t been to school for so long and may have been letting people down was what prompted her action,” police said.
The Pennsylvania Police Department investigation is now returning to find out if Chloe Stein was helped in faking the kidnapping by anyone and who the house she was staying in was.
The young woman will face a custody hearing on May 25. If you receive a positive verdict from the judge in the case, you are free to respond to the proceedings.

PADUA – The WHO decision on the end of the global health emergency for Covid is “major news, it tells us we are out of the emergency, but there is some debate as to what constitutes the end of a pandemic. The virus disappears in a closed pandemic and that is not our case. Even if, thanks to vaccinations and the stabilization of Omicron in a less aggressive form, it doesn’t worry us too much and doesn’t bring the health system into crisis. But the virus is circulating and we don’t know how it will evolve and we can’t predict if there will be seasonal spikes or not.
So Antonella Viola, professor of general pathology at the University of Padua, in her speech at the Wired Next Fest Rovereto. In the time of high media attention for Covid-19, popularizers and health experts have raged, but when they talk about other issues, someone turns up their noses. Why is this happening? «As technicians we are fine, but we have to remain closed in our area. I claim the right to speak on any subject – Viola replies – Then there is a difference, when I speak about science I have to be serious and speak about things approved by the scientific community. I’m not speaking on a personal level, I’m representing the scientific community. If I go to Gruber and she asks me what I think of the government, that’s a personal position. But if you ask me about ethanol and vaccines, what I say is not questionable ».

Simon Cowell was left furious during Saturday’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent after being covered in pink goo by Mr Blobby.
The notoriously badly behaved character appeared on the show to demonstrate his magic tricks.
After a card trick, Blobby pulled the show’s head judge Simon, 63, onto the stage and placed him in “Mr Blobby’s Disappearing Box.”
Simon was seen taking a seat before Mr Blobby closed the door as the crowd cheered.
Things took a turn for the worse for the music mogul, however, because when Mr Blobby was seen closing the door, pink goo sloshed out, much to the astonishment of Simon’s fellow judges Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 44, and Bruno Tonioli, 67

Simon warned, “Don’t touch me! Get away from me!’
To get the show’s other stars in on the action, Simon was seen hugging show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to cover them in slime as well.
’90s TV icon Mr Blobby has thrown chaos into this weekend’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent.
The crazy pink character tried to impress with his own unique brand of magic before falling flat on his face in front of the judges.
Blobby – made famous by BBC1’s Noel Edmond’s House Party – was greeted with applause from the audience.
Judge Alesha, however, grumbled “oh no” as soon as she saw the pink and yellow spotted star.
Walking from the stage to the podium, he fell and Bruno declared, “Mr Blobby is going to the hospital.”
He then offered Amanda a card as he attempted to perform his magic tricks, only to fail miserably.

While the audience was let down, head judge Simon glared at him as he seemed less than impressed.
Created by Charlie Adams, a writer of Noel’s House Party, Mr Blobby is a pot-bellied pink character who only communicates by saying the word “Blobby”.
He topped the UK charts with his 1993 Christmas hit Mr Blobby and more recently has appeared on Dancing on Ice, Loose Women and This Morning.
Britain’s Got Talent continues next Sunday at 7.40pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

In 2006 my girlfriend came home with a toy poodle. i am a cat person I like cats because they are independent and affectionate and that’s why my girlfriend says I’m an old cat.
Dogs didn’t interest me and I became the “cleanliness trainer” of a small quivering brown ball that weighed a kilo at most. Since I work from home, the little ball wobbled on my thighs all day and we quickly developed a loving relationship. We mockingly called it attack because it was completely harmless.
Attack in turn became the friend of my son Theo who found time in his teenage schedule to play with him, then he snuggled up with little Béatrice, a newcomer to the house (2010) and he once again accepted his demotion in the family pack when he was little Thomas appeared in series (2014) And when the latter almost died as a result of a terrible bacterium, Attack slept by his bedside for several weeks to monitor it.
Attack has always been a family member and although he wasn’t aware of it, he even became a cartoon character in the Baby Girl series. Sometimes we recognized him on the street: “Is he the famous Attaque?” ” Yes Madam !
In short, our old dog left us today, surrounded by his family, after 17 years of loyal service and blissful licking. He was half blind, three quarters deaf and completely incontinent. Not to mention the abscesses exploding in his mouth and his chronic breathing problems. It’s the end of his life as a dog. Our family is mourning. Farewell, brave companion. We will not forget you.
The old cat,” she reveals Guy A Lepage.
“Rest now, my good dog. We will miss you Attack 💔 (2006-2023)”, adds his wife, Melanie Campau.
A Quebecer used his presence in London to avoid the coronation of the new King Charles III. to celebrate, but to demonstrate against the monarchy in the company of hundreds of English people.

“The British Imperial Crown and the Canadian Crown have done irreparable damage to the people of Quebec, the Acadians, the Métis and the indigenous people. And these abuses, his successive constitutional dictates, these are things that we must not forget, or at least must not forget,” said Maxime Laporte, constitutional attorney and president of the Mouvement Québec français (MQF). ).
The former General President of the Society of Saint John the Baptist (SSJB), who was already in England for personal reasons, showed up in London on Saturday to add his voice to the anti-monarchy demonstrations that were just taking place in Trafalgar Square about a mile from the Coronation Ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
At the scene, the crowd of Republic group protesters was “dense, […] contained, surrounded by the police,” said the lawyer, who tried to blend in with the group with fluorescent yellow signs “Let’s abolish the monarchy”.
The two camps answered each other, singing “Long live the king” and “Not my king” in succession in a tense atmosphere.
Earlier, before the ceremony began, Republican movement leader Graham Smith was arrested along with five other activists while “hundreds of signs” were confiscated, AFP reported.
machine of repression
“We feel that a whole machine of repression has been set in motion and I find that particularly shocking given that the protesters were peaceful,” pounded Maxime Laporte. It’s pretty tough to start a reign.”
In his opinion, it is high time for Quebec to distance itself from the monarchy, or at least engage in “a substantive debate about the nature of our political system.”
“And above all on the question of who is our sovereign. Is it Charles III, King of Canada and Quebec, or shouldn’t it be the Quebecers? To me, democracy would suggest that the final say should be with the people of Quebec,” he added.
Anti-monarchy Movement: Repercussions as far afield as Canada
The anti-monarchy wave currently sweeping the United Kingdom could have repercussions as far away as Canada, according to a constitutional expert.
“If Canada doesn’t act, it will end up with an empty throne as head of state. He will always be more isolated,” said André Binette, author of the book The End of the Quebec Monarchy.
Canada may eventually be the only country in America that is a constitutional monarchy and even the only member of the Commonwealth alongside the United Kingdom, argued the founding president of the Coalition for the Republic of Quebec.
A referendum on the question of the monarchy is planned in Jamaica within two years. At the same time, the republican movement in Australia and New Zealand is gaining momentum.
“The problem in Canada is that the monarchy is at the heart of the constitution and the constitution is locked. But the question will still be asked more and more”, supports Me Binette.
In his opinion, “Multiculturalism and Canadian immigration are incompatible with the survival of the monarchy”. He therefore believes that if the monarchy is not abolished by the end of the decade, it certainly will be in the next.
“The monarchy is doomed. It’s not a revival at all, it’s an emphasis on the decline of the monarchy that we are witnessing,” Me Binette said.
