Good Morning Britain’s Coronation Special descended into chaos on Saturday morning after a presenter appeared to swear live on air.

Presented by a range of presenters including Ben Shephard, Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid, the ITV show focused on preparing for the momentous occasion.

Susanna shared a link in which she was preparing to cut Kate at Buckingham Palace as she told viewers: “Now many people would say she is and was one of the most maligned characters in Britain, today she becomes the crowned queen.

“Public sentiment towards Camilla, the Queen Consort, has definitely softened in recent years, of course she is now considered one of the longest-serving royals. Kate is at Buckingham Palace.’

But as Kate started to speak as the camera cut to her, viewers heard a voice they mistakenly assumed was Susanna saying, “B***h it’s not good,” before Kate immediately continued with her broadcast.

The expletive was uttered by correspondent Petronella Wyatt, who later admitted she was responsible for the slip-up, but not before viewers blamed the longtime presenter.

One person wrote: “Can’t rewind the TV but was anyone’s mic still on, someone called from ***h?”

Another said: “I swear someone just said b***h when it went to Kate’s part,” while a third added: “Susanna and Ben blushed and grins says it all. It was definitely their conversation when we heard the word “b***h in GMB”.

Another wrote, “Did I hear Susanna saying on a live mic just off camera?”

While another person responded with laughing emojis as they shared a clip of the moment. and someone else wrote, “Swear someone just said b***h in the background while talking about Camilla.”

And another wrote: “I’m obsessing that it’s not even 8am yet and Susanna called someone off camera. The coronation day is brightening!’

Meanwhile, journalist Petronella Wyatt claimed it was she who swore and a microphone picked it up.

Susanna began the program by speaking exclusively with Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska.

She told Susanna that she hoped to personally thank King Charles at the coronation for Britain’s support for Ukraine while their war raged on.

Olena said: “It’s a great honor. We truly believe that it is an honor to be present at such a historic event and it is important for us that Ukraine is one of the countries present.

“This is another great sign of support from the UK at such a difficult time for us. I very much hope that I will have the opportunity to personally thank His Majesty for the invitation and to greet him on behalf of the entire Ukrainian people and the President of Ukraine.’

Mel B later reflected on how she met Charles, then the Prince of Wales, with her bandmates when she was with the Spice Girls, saying: “We were all so excited that day, we all freaked out a bit and we broke protocol. But I don’t think I would do it again!’

Britain officially has a new king and queen. Charles III and Camilla were crowned in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London this Saturday (6/5). The moment caught the world’s attention and was also widely commented on social media.

The name of the late Princess Diana, who was the king’s wife and is the mother of his two heirs, was among the most commented on on Twitter, as was the coronation hashtag, the name of Charles and the name of Queen Camilla.

Also attracting attention were William and Kate’s children, George, Charlotte and Louis, who were caught in a moment of cuteness during the ceremony.
