The 35-year-old musician wore a multicolored ensemble of a fleece-hooded sweatshirt, graffiti-print pants and black high-top sneakers.
A native of Bloomington, Minnesota, he was pictured grabbing a Starbucks coffee in the company’s hometown and donning black oval-shaped sunglasses on the wintry day trip. He was later seen donning a large denim jacket on the chilly day.
The singer-songwriter was photographed after Lavigne, 38, was spotted having a meal with Tyga and several friends at Nobu Malibu, the high-end Southern California restaurant popular with celebrity patrons, on Sunday.
The Complicated singer was spotted sharing a hug with the rapper before they drove off together in the same car, according to TMZ.

She wore her wavy blonde locks parted and was seen hugging the rapper while waiting outside at the restaurant.
Tyga donned a bucket hat with a denim jacket over a black shirt with jeans and sneakers, and wore a large gold necklace.
A Mod Sun rep hinted that he was caught unawares by Lavigne when she broke off their engagement, telling Page Six that both he and the Complicated hitmaker “had been dating and engaged for three days when he went on tour.” .
The Mod Sun rep, whose real name is Derek Ryan Smith, added, “So if anything has changed, that’s new to him.”
The rapper kicked off his anticipated concert tour on February 19 to promote his fifth studio album, God Save The Teen, which also featured Lavigne.

TMZ reported that Avril called off their engagement after the couple had been “on and off” for the past few months.
However, the I’m With You singer and the Bones singer were spotted at a pre-Grammys party earlier this month and hooked up with fellow stars like Diplo.
Exactly what led to the split remains unclear, but the tabloid says neither party was unfaithful to one another.
Insiders told the site the two have been good friends for a while, but nothing more.
Speaking to People, sources reiterated that Avril and Mod have been on-off for a while, and that she’s strict friends with Tyga.
“Avril and Mod Sun have been on and off for the past two months, but they’re no longer together as a couple,” the insider said.
A source also told the outlet about her friendship with Tyga: “Avril and Tyga are real friends and nothing more. Absolutely no third party was involved in the split.’
