Bindi Irwin is forever grateful to her family.

The 24-year-old conservationist spoke to People magazine about raising her 18-month-old daughter Grace Warrior and how she “will always be there for her” as she grows into a young woman.

“Grace already has such a strong and independent personality,” she said.

“I hope she feels supported in doing and achieving whatever she sets her mind to,” added Bindi, who shares Grace with her husband, Chandler Powell.

The crikey! It’s the Irwins star continued, “I am incredibly lucky to be her mother and to hold her hand as she navigates life until she is ready to take on the world.

“I will always be there for her to lean on whenever she needs me.”

Last week, the daughter of the late Steve Irwin shared a cute video of Grace “working” at Australia Zoo.

She and her American husband posted a video on Instagram of their little girl walking at the zoo in her pajamas after work.

“I’m sure some of you have been wondering what happens at Australia Zoo after all the animals have gone to bed and everyone is free for their work day,” Chandler said in the clip.

Bindi’s father Steve Irwin, known to millions around the world as ‘the crocodile hunter’, died on September 4, 2006 at the age of 44 after being stung in the chest by a stingray while filming a documentary about the Great Barrier Reef was.

She was just eight years old then.

After his death, Steve’s family, including his children Bindi and Robert, widow Terri and son-in-law Chandler, have continued his conservation work at the zoo.

Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey will respond to a civil lawsuit brought by American actor Anthony Rapp, who alleges he was sexually assaulted at a party in Manhattan in 1986 when he was 14. Spacey will appear in court in New York this Thursday (06).

Star Trek: Discovery star Anthony Rapp, who turns 51 this month, filed a complaint against Spacey in September 2020 for alleged innuendo and sexual assault at a party in Manhattan, New York 36 years ago.

Around the same time that the #MeToo movement, led by women in film, toppled untouchable producer Harvey Weinstein in late October 2017, Rapp first denounced Spacey at length to BuzzFeed News.

Awardwinning stage, film and television actor Kevin Spacey Fowler, 63, has disappeared from screens and stages since he became one of the first celebrities to be caught up in the global #MeToo wave that originated in the United States.

The actor, whose worldwide fame has been built since the 1980s through his characters in films such as American Beauty and The Usual Suspects or in his recent work in the series House of Cards, has consistently denied the allegations of assault.

The day after Rapp’s denunciation to the press, Spacey offered his “sincere apologies” for his “drunken and deeply inappropriate behavior.”

After reporting in 2020, Rapp’s case was filed in federal criminal court but made progress in the civil arena. As a result, starting at 1:30 p.m. GMT (10:30 a.m. GMT), Spacey will be tried by a popular jury in Federal Civil Court in Manhattan, presided over by Judge Lewis Kaplan.

“Spacey will appear on Thursday and throughout the trial. We hope he can defend himself before an impartial jury,” his attorney, Jennifer Keller, said via email.

Kevin Spacey could be sentenced to pay huge damages.

However, Judge Kaplan did not definitively confirm Rapp’s original “sexual assault” charge. The President of the Court held that this classification could not cover facts already prescribed and was not covered by a 2019 New York State Child Protection Act.

The judge acknowledged that at the 1986 New York party, “Rapp testified that Fowler picked him up and rubbed his hand on the clothing covering Rapp’s buttocks for a few seconds. Shortly thereafter, Fowler put Rapp to bed, on his back, and then lay fully clothed, briefly and partially on “Rapp”, aged just 14.

Therefore, the teenager quickly “escaped” and left the party, the court said.

Rapp agreed that “there was no kissing or nudity, no touching in clothing, no sexual remarks or innuendos” in his statement 35 years later.

In both the US and the UK, the accused has already had problems with the judiciary.

In August, a California judge ordered Spacey to pay nearly $31 million to the producers of House of Cards, from which he was fired after allegations of sexual harassment, which he has always denied.

In London he is charged with sexually assaulting three men between March 2005 and April 2013 when he was a theater director. He pleaded not guilty in July.

In July 2016, Spacey was charged in Massachusetts with indecently and sexually assaulting an 18yearold bar employee. The charges were dropped in July 2019.
