Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson is the fourth celebrity to be confirmed for the new series of Dancing on Ice, which will air on ITV in January 2023.
Nile revealed the news on his YouTube channel, saying: “I’ll be on ITV’s Dancing on Ice! That’s a really cool thing.
“I certainly haven’t skated much, but I’m really looking forward to the opportunity. I’m so excited to get into this routine and feel like an athlete again.

Of what he hopes to bring to the ice, Nile said, “My number one goal on the show is to do something no one has ever done before!”
Eleven celebrities will take on the ultimate challenge each week as they hit the ice and skate live to impress both the judges and viewers at home.
Nile joins a host of stars including football legend John Fashanu, actress and DJ Patsy Palmer and Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu,

Ekin-Su confirmed she signed up for the skating show after her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti said he turned down an offer to participate.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, the reality star, 28, announced she will be joining the cast of the upcoming series, saying: “I have some amazing news to share, I’ll be doing this year’s Dancing on Ice!
“I’m so excited, I can’t wait to get on the ice and skate. Stay tuned and see you on the ice.’
Dancing On Ice 2023: Love Island’s Ekin-Su Culculoglu was confirmed as the third contestant on Wednesday after her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti “rejected an offer for the show”.
It comes after her boyfriend Davide, 27, claimed he turned down an offer to take part in the skating show because he didn’t have the time to get involved in everything.
He said: “I have so much to do and I can’t commit to something every day and when I do something I want to do it right.
“Right now I just can’t focus on something like that, right now anyway, but maybe in the future I will.”

Ekin-Su has already launched her first collection with Oh Polly, while Davide has launched his own collection with BoohooMAN.
The couple will also return to screens in his brand new ITV series Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecomings.
They will be featured on two trips to their hometowns in Italy and Turkey.

The two-part series follows the lovebirds as they make their way to Davide’s hometown of Frosinone to meet his family, before heading to her boyfriend’s home in Istanbul, Turkey to meet fellow actors and family in Odemis.
So far it has been confirmed that two celebrities will be taking part in the new series of Dancing On Ice, which will air on ITV in January 2023.
It was announced on Tuesday that John Fashanu would be joining the cast after Patsy Palmer confirmed her participation.
John, 60, said: “I’m so excited to be a part of Dancing on Ice! I don’t think it will surprise people that I’m very competitive – I’m definitely going to win it.

It comes after Patsy showed up from her home in Los Angeles on Monday This Morning to confirm her attendance.
The EastEnders icon, 50, said: “I can’t believe I’m first. That’s what I really needed to think about, I wanted to challenge myself, get out of my comfort zone.’

“I used to turn it down because I was scared, but when I turned 50 I made a pact to get out of my confrontational zone. This is for all 50 year olds. I’m actually pretty scared now.’
“Even my daughter doesn’t know, she was traveling.”
Patsy said she will be returning to the UK for the show but will be doing much of her training in Malibu.
She said: “I’ll be back, but I’ll be training in Los Angeles, which is fantastic.
“I’m not competitive but this time I’ll say let’s try to win it. I’m going to be focusing on the workout and meditating and that’s going to really test it for me.

About her experience, she said: “The experience I had with ice skating is that when I was a kid I went there with my friends as one of the first things we got to do without our parents. We used to drive around fast and crash into walls.
“It would be really nice to skate to songs I love, but a lot of them are very upbeat and I don’t want to create a challenge for myself.”
Patsy lives in Malibu with husband Richard Merkell and their three children, Fenton, 22, Emilia, 20, and Bertie, 10, having moved to the United States in 2014.
She is also the parent of actor Charley Palmer Rothwell, 30 – her UK-based son with former partner Alfie Rothwell.
