So if they have the guts, he invites Jericho and Omega to a street fight at Dynamite in two weeks. Omega says that Callis wanted to hurt him and Jericho from the beginning, not for his family, but for himself. So yes, they accept the street fight and will bring his family, so he will have Kota Ibushi. Callis says they are still negative. Omega asks if Jericho can help him. Jericho says he’s looking at Will Hobbs, but he has an even greater friend than Will Hobbs. Hobbs is tall, but he’s not a giant. Paul Wight is coming! Kyle Fletcher approaches the stage but Wight knocks him down ! The rest of the Callis family stays far away.

– Back backstage, Renee Paquette asks Jericho and Omega for their reaction. Jericho says the Callis family will have to face their new friend in two weeks. The Young Bucks are coming. Jericho says they shouldn’t take their anger out on him for losing the Trios Titles. Omega says Jericho is helping them against Callis. Matt Jackson says Jericho will betray him like Callis. Bomb threat: Many Ontario schools evacuated –

Many schools in Ontario, particularly in the east and north of the province, were evacuated on Wednesday following bombings.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said “multiple schools affiliated with multiple school boards” were targeted by bomb threats. The perpetrator or perpetrators demanded a sum of money from the facilities attacked.

“As a precautionary measure, several schools were closed,” police said, but said no explosive device had been found so far.

The OPP could not reveal the exact number of schools targeted, saying only that the majority are in the north of the province or in the east, near the Quebec border.

Several school authorities said they closed their schools on Wednesday due to the threats. This is particularly true for the English and French counterparts of the Timmins-based Northeastern Ontario School Board and the Grandes Rivières Catholic District School Board, which announced their schools will reopen Thursday.

The south of the province was not spared. Three Toronto-area schools and a school in Burlington were also evacuated Wednesday, local police said. No bomb was found here either.

The OPP has failed to establish a connection between any of these events and has limited itself to saying it is continuing its investigation.

World Series Champion Rangers

World Series Champion Rangers!

The Texas Rangers won the World Series at the expense of the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday night at Chase Field.

The 2023 Major League Baseball champions secured major success in five games, winning the day’s game 5-0. The game was presented on TVA Sports.

This is the first time in the Rangers’ 62 years of existence that they have won the World Series. The club was the oldest major league club to never win a championship.

The Texas team struggled with starter Zac Gallen for a long time in the last duel. The Diamondbacks right-hander was dominant through the first six innings, allowing just one walk and no hits.

However, things got even worse for Gallen in the seventh round. Corey Seager hit a single and Evan Carter followed with a double. Then Mitch Garver opened the scoring with a single that pushed Seager to the plate. The “D-Backs” shooter was then replaced by Kevin Ginkel.

The chain arrives for Sewald

In the ninth inning, the Rangers took advantage of the generosity of end-of-game specialist Paul Sewald to give themselves a much more comfortable cushion. A single from Jonah Heim – and an error by the center fielder – allowed two of his teammates to end their trip down the lanes. Marcus Semien also hit a two-run home run against the pitcher, who ultimately gave up four earned runs on five hits.

We also need to highlight the performance of the Rangers pitchers during the last major baseball game of 2023. Starter Nathan Eovaldi delivered four hits and five walks in six innings. Substitutes Aroldis Chapman and Josh Sborz then finished the job brilliantly. In total, the crowd favorite only managed to save five goals.

Seager is still the MVP

Additionally, Seager was voted World Series MVP. In addition to excelling on defense, the shortstop had six hits, including three home runs, in 21 at-bat appearances against the Diamondbacks. He produced six runs and scored as many.

Seager became the fourth player in history to win the MVP award twice after earning the honor in 2020 with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Among the losers, the “D-Backs” still have to wait to win the second World Series in their history, having already experienced this luck in 2001. The team from Arizona took part in the final stages of a major league campaign for the third time.

The killing of Lewiston is the failure of a system

The killing of Lewiston is the failure of a system

Even if the phenomenon unfortunately repeats itself, the recent shooting in Lewiston did not leave me indifferent, I have the impression that the tragedy happened a little “at home”.

From Jackman to Portland, from Old Orchard to Kittery, I no longer count the miles I have traveled for personal or professional reasons.

Until last week, Lewiston reminded me of the presence of Franco-Americans. After all, a third of the inhabitants of this state are of French-Canadian origin.

Hunting, freedom and yellow flags

Not only is Maine a popular destination for Quebecers seeking quick access to the ocean, but further north it is also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and hunters.

It should come as no surprise that gun control faces resistance there. When you live so close to nature and learn how to handle a weapon early on, you know how to do it safely.

Among the rare safety measures, Maine passed a so-called “yellow flag” law in 2019, a watered-down version of the “red flag” laws in place in states like California and Florida.

We thought we had found a good compromise between gun control activists and Second Amendment fans.

What does a “yellow flag” law say? That authorities can take weapons away from a person deemed dangerous. Where is the problem? In the proceedings. It is the police who must initiate a procedure that includes a medical examination and judicial authorization.

A multitude of overwhelming testimonies

Since the discovery of the shooter’s body, a lot of information about him has been circulating. They all point in the same direction: the man had been sick for several months and many of them were afraid of what happened last week.

Not only did his family report his condition to law enforcement, but his fellow soldiers did the same. While attempting to obtain a silencer for a gun, the man signed up on a form and admitted to suffering from mental health issues.

Police visited his home several times and we know he recently spent two weeks in a psychiatric facility. However, at the time of the killing he was free and in possession of several weapons. The weapon used? Once again the AR-15, the civilian version of a military weapon.

As Gov. Janet Mills was pressed with questions by reporters on Monday, she grew weary and probably dismayed and impatient. However, there must be answers to legitimate questions.

How could a person who suffered from paranoia and was considered a serious risk by his family, colleagues and the police for months escape this famous “yellow flag law”? This failure of the system led to death and despair in a close-knit community.

Texas Rangers win the World Series! Nathan Eovaldi pitches six scoreless innings and Marcus Semien hits a late HR to seal a dominant 4-1 series win over the Arizona Diamondbacks…and the team’s first-ever title

  • Nathan Eovaldi came out of trouble in multiple innings to keep the Arizona Diamondbacks scoreless in Game 5
  • The Texas Rangers’ 4-1 series win seals the franchise’s first-ever World Series triumph for the third time
  • provides the latest international sports news

The Texas Rangers won the World Series for the first time in franchise history after pitcher Nathan Eovaldi pitched six scoreless innings and the Arizona Diamondbacks collapsed late in Game 5.

The Rangers took a 3-1 lead into Chase Field on Wednesday night, and an RBI single by Mitch Garver in the seventh gave them the lead after Eovaldi’s impressive performance on the mound.

Despite a roaring home crowd, the Diamondbacks were unable to equalize, and the team collapsed in the top of the ninth, allowing the Rangers to score three straight hits, leading to two more runs, giving them free reign.

Marcus Semien then silenced the arena a few minutes later with a two-run home run – his second of the postseason – ensuring it was a dominant series-sealing win for the Rangers.

With Wednesday night’s 5-0 triumph, the Rangers won the World Series for the first time in franchise history and the third straight season after falling short in 2010 and 2011.

However, it was manager Bruce Bochy’s fourth World Series after leading his team to its first masterpiece in 12 years. He previously won with the San Francisco Giants in 2010, 2012 and 2014.

Israeli Ambassador on US Calls for Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Israeli Ambassador on US Calls for Humanitarian Aid to Gaza: ‘We Don’t Need Pushing’ – The Hill

Israeli Ambassador to the US Michael Herzog said Israel does not need to be “pressured” into providing humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Herzog said Israel was “increasing its humanitarian deliveries to” Gaza Strip areas that are beyond Hamas’ reach in the southern region. During an interview with The Hill on NewsNation, he told Blake Burman that the number of humanitarian aid trucks heading to the area is increasing day by day.

“We provide water, we provide other types of relief supplies, and today, for the first time, we are happy to see foreigners leaving Gaza,” Herzog continued. “So we don’t need any urging.”

During remarks Wednesday in Minnesota, President Biden said efforts to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza had failed but that the U.S. “continues to work to significantly increase that assistance.”

The president has pushed for humanitarian support for Palestinian civilians in recent weeks. Their living situation is frightening: communication failures, limited access to essential goods and a rising death toll after weeks of Israeli attacks.

The White House has said it would consider supporting a “humanitarian pause” to allow aid to get to Gaza, but it rejected calls for a ceasefire.

“The number of trucks heading to Gaza continues to increase significantly, but we still have a long way to go. “The United States will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to innocent people in Gaza who need assistance,” Biden said.

“The Hill on NewsNation” airs Monday through Friday at 5 p.m

WASHINGTON, Nov 1 (Portal) – Boeing (BA.N), one of the world’s largest defense and aerospace companies, said on Wednesday the company is investigating a cyber incident that affected parts of its parts and distribution business and is conducting an investigation law enforcement agencies work together.

Boeing admitted the incident days after the Lockbit cybercrime gang said it had stolen “an enormous amount” of sensitive data from the US plane maker, which it would put online if Boeing didn’t pay the ransom by November 2.

The Lockbit threat was no longer on the gang’s website as of Wednesday and it did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Boeing declined to comment on whether Lockbit was behind the disclosed cyber incident.

“This issue has no impact on flight safety,” a Boeing spokesman said. “We are actively investigating the incident and coordinating with law enforcement and regulatory authorities. We are notifying our customers and suppliers.”

Boeing’s parts and distribution business, part of the Global Services division, provides materials and logistics support to its customers, according to the company’s 2022 annual report. Some webpages on the company’s official website that contained information about its Global Services division were unavailable Wednesday due to a report citing technical issues.

“We expect the website to be available again soon,” the pages say.

According to the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Lockbit was the most active global ransomware group by number of victims last year and has affected 1,700 US organizations since 2020.

The hacking group typically deploys ransomware on a victim organization’s system to lock it down and also steals sensitive data for blackmail.

It is unclear what data Lockbit may have stolen from the company. Brett Callow, a ransomware expert and threat analyst at cybersecurity firm Emsisoft, said that while companies could pay cybercriminals for ransoms, that was no guarantee that data would not be lost.

“Paying the ransom would simply earn LockBit a small promise to destroy any data it received,” Callow said. “However, there would be no way to know for sure whether this was actually the case.”

The loss of military-related information is “extremely problematic,” he added. Boeing did not comment on whether defense-related data was affected by the cyber incident.

CISA did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the Boeing statement.
