In April, Apple Arcade offers classic mobile games in full version and without ads, but also new ones not to be missed. Sonic, the magnificent and powerful Gear.Club cars or even the kings of billiards and construction are the rendezvous of novelties.

If success smiles at the Apple TV+ service after a notorious start, Apple Arcade wants to believe it too. The subscription-based service, which offers unlimited access to a catalog of more than a hundred games, is enjoying growing popularity, with titles like Fantasian, which was crowned best mobile game by several websites last year, and several high-quality exclusives. But it seems to be struggling to find a place in gamers’ hearts and devices.
However, the Apple brand goes to great lengths to frequently add titles with excellent graphics, storytelling, and playability quality. Last month, Monument Valley 2+, the full version of the mobile title with no ads or in-app purchases, or even the new Alto’s Adventure: The Spirit of the Mountain were offered to subscribers.
Race, fun and poetry
In April, Apple uses two well-known licenses to spread its message. Starting with Sonic, the legendary hero of Sega, arriving on April 8th Sonic Dash+ (only on iPhone, iPod and iPad). This time it’s not a new game for Apple Arcade, but an improved version of the runner released in 2013. But it adds a very simple and very popular feature: leaderboards between players around the world to compare your performance and win prizes.
For the rest, the game uses the original recipe with its 3D environments inspired by Sonic The Hedgehog, but in a modern version. You have to overcome the obstacles in this endless racing game, use your super powers to dodge attacks and accelerate. You can choose to play Sonic, but also Tails, Shadow or Knuckles.

Announced during the last spring keynote, Road Gear Club is here to highlight the capabilities of the A15 Bionic and M1 chips. The racing game by the French studio Eden Games is primarily designed for mobile use. In particular, it takes the pilots to the landscapes of Tuscany and at the wheel of emblematic brands (Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Pagani, McLaren, Porsche, etc.). The recipe remains the same: join a club with your friends and take part in events to make your team shine. You can then upgrade your vehicle in your mansion’s workshops, compete against up to 5 other players and unlock tons of content. Rev up the engines on April 8th.

Prune+ is a poetic and contemplative game in which you have to cultivate and grow your trees on abandoned land that is at your disposal. But beware of the dangers that lurk and prevent you from understanding how the world has gotten this far.
