Horror as 2-year-old Alabama boy is mauled to death by his neighbor's husky and German shepherd after opening the gate and wandering into the outside stable: Mom says 'our world is destroyed'

An Alabama mother has shared her heartache after her two-year-old son was mauled to death by her neighbor's dogs.

Kayla Partain said her youngest child, Mark Alan, was attacked in her neighbor's yard in New Hope, Alabama, on Friday, leaving her “completely shaken.”

“The pain is unreal. I don't even feel like I'm living in reality. “My children’s hearts are so broken,” she said in a tragic Facebook post.

Neighbor Ricky Clark believes the tragic accident occurred after the boy opened the gate to his backyard alone and stressed his dogs have never harmed anyone.

Neighbor Ricky Clark said he saw the child's lifeless body in his yard but was puzzled by the attack because his dogs had never harmed anyone in the past

When the fatal act of violence occurred in Clark's backyard on Friday, he said he was frightened by the blood-curdling screams of the stricken father outside his home.

“He knocked on the door really hard and said, 'That's my son, that's my son, I think he might be dead,'” Clark told WAAY.

He said he ran outside and found the two-year-old “lying on the ground” in front of his dog park and he was “not moving or doing anything and the gate was open.”

The Madison County Coroner's Office pronounced Mark dead at the scene, and Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill concluded he had suffered fatal bite wounds.

Clark said he was puzzled by the random attack because he claims his two dogs, a husky and a German shepherd, have never hurt anyone in the past.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he continued.

“My dogs never go out or bark at anyone or anything…if I had any idea that the dogs were going to hurt anyone, I wouldn't have had it.”

Clark speculated that the attack may have been fueled by the presence of a local bulldog, which he said has been running loose in the area lately.

“There's a brown bulldog running around in the neighborhood, and she was running around in the yard,” he said, adding that it wasn't uncommon to see the dog running loose in the neighborhood.

“When I was boarding my dog, I saw her running out of the yard and I don't know if she had anything to do with it.”

He felt the toddler may have seen the dogs and followed them into his backyard, which was locked but not locked, according to WAFF.

“Maybe he opened the gate and this other dog might have come in here with him and then they might all have charged at it and he might have been in the middle of it,” he said.

Clark's dogs were confiscated by animal control, which told him they would be returned in 10 days.

Mark's heartbroken mother Kayla said the devastating loss was something that would “never get easier” but said before the investigation was complete, “it looks like it was just a very tragic accident that no one was responsible for.” can be held responsible.”

“Last night our world was completely destroyed,” she wrote on Saturday.

Mark's devastated mother said the toddler and her other son Cole (pictured together) were “thick as thieves” and since the tragedy Cole had “asked about him multiple times a day”.

The stricken mother said her older son Cole was disadvantaged by the loss of his young son and had not come to terms with the reality of the tragedy.

On Tuesday, she said in another post that the two toddlers were “always fat as thieves” and never spent a single day apart.

“Cole asked about him several times a day. “Either he just repeats his name or he asks where he is,” she said.

“It breaks my heart so much.” It sends the whole house into a spiral of emotions every time.”

A family friend shared a GoFundMe account to help the family cope with the financial burden of the loss.

Two sailors killed after US attack on Houthis ship in Gulf of Aden | Houthis

A Houthi missile attack on a ship in the Gulf of Aden left two sailors dead and six others injured, U.S. officials said, the first fatalities among merchant vessel crew since the Houthis began attacking ships in waters off Yemen last year .

The officials told US news outlets that the crew of the MV True Confidence abandoned the ship after the attack claimed by the Houthis.

The British embassy in the Yemeni capital Sana'a, Posted on X: “At least two innocent sailors died. This was the sad but inevitable consequence of the Houthis' reckless firing of missiles at international ships. You have to stop.”

The bulk carrier was adrift with a fire on board after it was hit 50 nautical miles southwest of Aden at around 9:30 a.m. GMT on Wednesday, the ship's owner and operator said.

“The ship is adrift,” Liberian-registered owner True Confidence Shipping and Greece-based operator Third January Maritime Ltd said in a joint statement, adding that there is currently no connection with a U.S. company.

Marine safety company Ambrey said the ship had been hit and damaged, adding that a rescue operation was “underway, with some of the crew already in lifeboats.”

Houthi fighters in Yemen have repeatedly used drones and missiles against international merchant ships since mid-November, saying they are acting in solidarity with the Palestinians to oppose Israel's military actions in Gaza.

A number of ships have been damaged in such attacks, but Wednesday's deaths are the first among merchant vessels. Two U.S. Navy Seals drowned in waters off Somalia in January while trying to board an unflagged ship carrying Iranian weapons bound for the Houthis

The Yemen Data Project estimates that 11 civilian casualties were recorded in three separate US-led strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen in February.

The US and Britain launched Operation Poseidon Archer on January 12th. The project estimates that the number of Houthi attacks on shipping doubled in February compared to the previous month – at least 79 attacks compared to at least 33 in January.

Wednesday's incident came as the British Embassy in Yemen warned of the dire environmental consequences that could result from the Houthi sinking of the Belize-flagged, Lebanon-based airline Rubymar. The ship sank over the weekend after being adrift for nearly two weeks. Lloyd's List said outdated records may have led the Houthis and the British government to view the vessel as a British-owned vessel.

The increasing disruptions have led several shipping companies and oil companies to suspend or divert sailings from the key route bordering Yemen, which accounts for about 12% of global maritime transport.

Earlier this week, four of 15 critical submarine cables in the Red Sea were severed, with HGC Communications estimating that 25% of traffic was affected.

Recognizing that they need better information about the Houthis' military assets, London and Washington are drawing up plans to help train local naval forces to help control Yemen's territorial waters.

The Aden government is convinced that the Houthis will not stop attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait even if Israel's war on Gaza ends.

While the militia has said it will target ships with links to Britain, the US and Israel, shipping industry sources say all ships could be at risk.

Steven Mnuchin leads $1 billion effort to save NYCB

New York Community Bank (NYCB) made a dramatic attempt to regain investor confidence by announcing a new CEO and a $1 billion cash infusion from a group that includes former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

Wednesday's moves came after shares of the $114 billion lender fell as much as 45% following reports that NYCB was looking for investors willing to buy shares in the company.

After the $1 billion deal was announced, the stock rallied as much as 18%. It ended the day up more than 7%.

Firms lined up to provide the infusion included Liberty Strategic Capital, a company Mnuchin founded in 2021, as well as Hudson Bay Capital, Reverence Capital Partners and Citadel Global Equities.

She and several bank executives will buy common and convertible preferred stock, effectively taking control of the Hicksville, N.Y.-based company.

The deal also brings a new change at the top. Former Comptroller of the Currency Joseph Otting will become NYCB's new CEO, the third person to hold the title in recent weeks.

The transaction is scheduled to close on March 11 and is subject to regulatory approval.

“In evaluating this investment, we considered the bank’s credit risk profile,” Mnuchin said in a news release. His company is expected to contribute $450 million, more than the other investors.

“With over $1 billion of capital invested in the bank, we believe we now have sufficient capital should reserves need to be increased in the future to match or exceed the coverage ratio of NYCB's major bank peers to surpass.”

Mnuchin, who served as Treasury secretary under President Donald Trump and was previously a partner at Goldman Sachs, has experience with another troubled bank.

In 2009, he was part of a group of investors that acquired California mortgage lender IndyMac Bank for about $1.5 billion after it was seized by the federal government during the 2008 financial crisis.

The story goes on

He and the group renamed the lender OneWest and hired Otting to handle the turnaround. OneWest was eventually sold to CIT Bank for more than $3 billion, and Otting later served as acting Comptroller of the Currency during the Trump administration.

This renewed rescue of NYCB brings several changes in NYCB's leadership. Otting replaces as CEO Alessandro DiNello, who served as the bank's true boss since February 6 and officially became CEO last week following the departure of longtime CEO Thomas Cangemi.

DiNello will become non-executive chairman of a smaller nine-member board that includes a number of new faces, including Mnuchin, Otting, Hudson Bay's Allen Puwalski and Reverence Capital's Milton Berlinski.

“We welcome the approach that Liberty and its partners have taken in evaluating the bank and look forward to incorporating their insights in the future,” said DiNello. It is “a positive confirmation of the ongoing trend reversal and allows us to implement our strategy from a position of strength.”

NYCB shares first began falling on Jan. 31 when it surprised analysts by cutting its dividend and setting aside more for loan losses.

The turmoil intensified again last week after the company announced the exit of Cangemi, weaknesses in its internal controls and a tenfold increase in its fourth-quarter loss to $2.7 billion.

The dilemma facing New York Community Bancorp comes about a year after the collapses of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, whose seizures sparked widespread panic among depositors.

Now there are new fears that the growing weakness in commercial real estate could spill over into other banks and cause new problems.

Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said Wednesday that banks' exposure to commercial real estate was “manageable” but that “some lenders will experience losses.”

The Fed is in contact with banks to ensure they have enough liquidity and capital to absorb any losses, he told lawmakers during a hearing in Washington.

“I am confident that we are doing the right things. I believe the problem is manageable. If that changes, I will say so.”

NYCB played the role of savior during last year's crisis, agreeing to take over Signature's assets seized by regulators. But it also pushed NYCB's assets past $100 billion, a threshold that drew tighter scrutiny from regulators.

NYCB said these stricter requirements led to the decision to cut the dividend and set aside more for future loan losses.

It allocated $552 million, well above estimates, to address weaknesses related to office properties and multifamily housing. NYCB is a major lender of rent-controlled apartments in New York City.

The panic at Silicon Valley Bank began last March after the bank sold assets at a loss, making it harder to raise needed capital.

“When you sell assets, you take losses, so it's better to have capital before you sell assets,” Chris Marinac, a Janney analyst who covers the bank, told Yahoo Finance.

Producers on New Time In Memorium Pressure

Producers on New Time, In Memorium Pressure

The Oscars Key Art with Jimmy Kimmel

Oscar presenter Jimmy Kimmel

Disney

There are two timing concerns for the 2024 Academy Awards. For one thing, the show will air an hour earlier than its historic time slot – starting at 7 p.m. ET. and 4 p.m. on the West Coast. ABC's live broadcast on March 10 also coincides with the “spring” of the first day of Daylight Saving Time, creating even more confusion for viewers in the vast majority of the United States.

When TV showrunner Raj Kapoor and co-executive producers Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan hopped on Zoom earlier this week, they were happy to talk about everything from crisis plans, “Memoriam” pressures, those Barbie commercials and the inherent stupidity of trying to get one construct viral moment. But it was also important to them to remind Oscar fans of this new time slot.

Ok, we're only on the road for a few more days. Are any of you worried that people still haven't been informed about the early start time?

MOLLY MCNEARNEY Yes, that's why this article is mandatory. (Laughs.) Whoever reads this, tell your friends.

KATY MULLAN We have to make sure no one is late since it's daylight saving time and the show airs an hour early!

RAJ KAPOOR We believe ABC and the Academy have done a good job so far. And we believe the earlier start time has many benefits. But yeah, we just hope everyone gets the memo.

There is so much pressure on these shows to create a “viral moment.” It's the nature of things that they can't really be constructed, and yet you have to try anyway. What do these discussions look like?

MCNEARNEY Everyone's goal is to create something unforgettable in this show. But I agree with you. I don't think it's something you can plan and design in advance. Last year, some of the best moments were the acceptance speeches – and we certainly can't control those. This is Jimmy's fourth Oscar. In the past we've done big, pre-produced, celebrity comedy bits – and we don't do that. Of course we did it in the promo, but we think these seem a bit laborious. It's a lot of work for very little gain. I think we shine more when Jimmy is more spontaneous and comments on what's going on in the room. And we definitely write a killer monologue. Katy, Raj and I, along with Taryn Hurd, our talent producer, have worked tirelessly to bring together great presenters. There will be some surprises. There will be some great performances. But trying to plan a viral moment leads to a dead end.

KAPOOR All we can do is sow the seeds and hope that things happen naturally and spontaneously. And if a moment gets a big reaction in the room, hopefully that will lead to those viral moments. We have some great cameos planned.

This Barbie promo was so well received. When you saw the finished product, did something in you think, “Should we think of this as some kind of show intro?” It was really reminiscent of the Billy Crystal intros from the '90s.

MCNEARNEY Total! When it came together so well, I had the same thought. A lot of us thought, “Oh, should we open the show with that?” But I think it's better to use it to promote the show. I think it raised awareness of the time change. We got millions of eyes on this thing. It's better if we get our 10 minute succinct monologue because we have 23 awards to give out.

It seems almost impossible to pull off an awards ceremony “in memoriam” without upsetting someone over an omission or limited screen time. There is so much control. Can you talk to me about how you fix that part of the show?

MULLAN I've never worked with a larger group of people who care more about getting the elements of the show right. And the great thing about the Oscars having been going on for so many years and the Academy being so big is that there's a whole group of people who make sure that the right people are there – that every name is spelled correctly, that all images are correct. There's just a lot of care and love and attention that goes into making sure that it's really successful and that it's done in a really awesome way. We have a realization of that coming up this year that I think will hopefully be really moving and do justice to everyone.

Last year there was a lot of talk about setting up a crisis team after the slap on the TV show, and we just saw a demonstration disrupting some of the Independent Spirit Awards. How much can you tell me about preparing for possible disruptions?

KAPOOR There are many plans and hundreds of people are involved in such decisions. There is a formal plan, but in the end there are a few people who make important decisions in a very short period of time when something happens. A lot of thought goes into every single part of this show. That's why it's the Oscars. That's why it's a global show, because every nuance is actually thought through in advance.

Okay, for each of you, what gives you the most excitement – and fear – about getting everything done on your big day?

KAPOOR I think our set design and vision looks like this because in the theater it looks really beautiful. We're in the process of figuring out what it looks like from every camera angle because all of our cameras are coming tomorrow. But the actual design is very immersive – classic yet modern. There are all these beautiful touchstones that we really put a lot of time and thought into, from the way people are presented on stage and even how they leave the stage, to providing all the tools that Hamish Hamilton, our director, wants to show people in their best light. This year, when the presenters and winners give their acceptance speeches, they will also be much closer to the rest of the audience. Hopefully that will be clear on screen. I'm probably most concerned about us putting on a show that's reasonably on time and feels really good. We don't want anyone to look at the clock.

MCNEARNEY I'm really looking forward to celebrating with the people who have put the show together over the first so many months. What scares me as someone married to the host is that you always get nervous when a joke doesn't go over well. There is always fear when someone is out there and vulnerable in a time where everyone has an opinion on everything. This is always a little discouraging for me. Luckily it's not Jimmy.

MULLAN I had an anxiety dream the other night that I was on the back seat of a moped that Ryan Gosling was driving and we couldn't find the Dolby Theater. (Laughs) Live TV is so complicated! And it's kind of thankless because you have to make it look completely effortless, even though behind the scenes everyone's brooding about how many times it could possibly go wrong.

I love that you imagine a nightmare that involves being on a moped with Ryan Gosling.

MULLAN It started well and then I realized we were going to be late for the show!

Raj, you mentioned the pressure to arrive on time. What are the actual consequences of not showing up on time, aside from kind of annoying people? And when the Emmys arrived on time, you all thought, “Oh, great…”

KAPOOR Yes, thank you very much, Jesse Collins! (Laughs.) That doesn't happen very often. We want to give people the opportunity to have their say, but we also want to control some of it. It still has to feel great for everyone at home. Ultimately, it's three and a half hours of live television and we can only control so many things. We can't really talk about the impact. We just feel the pressure to be really great partners with the Academy and ABC and produce the show that they want to deliver. And the message is a show on time.

NYCFC stadium project passes city mandate; Club unveils “The Cube” entrance

NYCFC's long-standing ambition to build a stadium across the five boroughs has taken another step forward with the unveiling of a special design element.

On Wednesday, the New York City Planning Commission voted in a binding and unanimous vote to build the stadium. The plan will now go before the New York City Council, which will hold a public hearing and then a vote. If the motion is approved and the mayor agrees, there will be an appeal process. NYCFC's plan is expected to survive all of these hurdles unscathed. Once that happens, the club will be “shovel ready” to begin construction.

“We have been on parallel paths over the last 12 to 18 months,” NYCFC CEO Brad Sims told The Athletic. “The political process is one, the design process is the second and the third is the actual clearance of the site and the redevelopment of the land. … We’ll be done by late summer,” Sims said. “All three of these processes are running in parallel and very positively.”

To celebrate the landmark, Sims and NYCFC shared updated renderings of the main entrance to the planned stadium, being built in Willets Point, Queens, next to Citi Field, home of the MLB's New York Mets, and near Billie Jean King National is to become a tennis center, home of the US Open.

When fans arrive on public transport, they will encounter what the club calls “The Cube” – a seven-story-tall, LED-lined entrance to the club’s new stadium.

Image of The Cube entrance (courtesy of NYCFC)

“You go through the whole process and think about how can we differentiate ourselves?” Sims said. “Not only among the soccer-specific stadiums in North America, but we also stand out among the other sports venues in the New York area. … I think our grand entrance through the Cube will be unlike any other feeling of arrival, of welcome at a sporting event that any of our fans have ever seen.”

The entrance will feature 11,000 square feet of LED lighting in the cube, capable of projecting videos, photos and graphic elements.

In total, the stadium project is expected to cost $780 million (all privately financed) and have a planned capacity of 25,000 people. That capacity would make NYCFC's stadium the seventh-largest among soccer-specific stadiums in the MLS, alongside Hudson River rivals New York Red Bulls.

Sims said the neighboring Mets are “good partners” with regular dialogue as the two teams work together on parking plans, game day operations, schedules and ways to revitalize the surrounding neighborhood.

“When you're in our stadium, you'll know you're in New York City,” Sims said. “Whether you're sitting near the field looking up and out, whether you're in the concourse or wherever you are in the stadium, you'll know you're in New York City.”

The stadium will be close to stops on the New York City Subway, the Long Island Rail Road and several bus lines (courtesy of NYCFC).

Sims compares the feel of the Willets Point location to that of Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs), Fenway Park (Boston Red Sox), Craven Cottage (Fulham FC) and Selhurst Park (Crystal Palace) – stadiums on both sides of the Atlantic that fit in a neighborhood atmosphere. The club is also particularly pleased with the location's accessibility via public transportation, particularly the ease of travel from Long Island.

The area where the stadium and surrounding development will be built currently consists largely of empty lots that previously housed a number of auto repair and parts workshops. The area on the other side of Citi Field is mostly a parking lot, although Mets owner Steve Cohen has proposed a plan to convert much of the area into parkland, restaurants and community spaces.

As part of the planning process, the club spoke with other MLS teams that have recently built stadiums. They want to know what worked, what they would do differently, and what lies in between. During NYCFC's first trip to St. Louis this past weekend, Sims was treated to a three-hour tour of their new stadium.

“I think our fans are going to love it,” Sims said confidently.

NYCFC was originally announced as an MLS expansion club in 2013 and debuted in the 2015 season with the idea that the team would strike a deal to build its own soccer stadium in New York City. Until then, the plan was for the club to play at Yankee Stadium. It has taken longer than expected to finalize a land deal and begin planning for the stadium, and the club has enjoyed a somewhat nomadic 'home experience' in recent seasons. In the 2022 season alone, NYCFC played “home games” at five venues: Yankee Stadium (the team's primary location, home of the New York Yankees), Red Bull Arena (home of rival New York Red Bulls), Citi Field, Belson Stadium (home of the St. John's University) and even BMO Stadium (home of LAFC).

NYCFC still plans to debut at its new stadium in 2027.

INTERNATIONAL – These images are among the last to show Alexei Navalny alive shortly before his arrest. A never-broadcast video of an interview between the Russian opponent and a European elected official in December 2020 was published exclusively this Wednesday, March 6, by the French media Libération and LCI.

“I think if they killed me, it wouldn't change anything because there are other people who are ready to replace me,” Alexei Navalny, who died in an Arctic penal colony in February, said in this interview You can see below.

“They (his teams, editor's note) know how to work without me, because in fact I spend a lot of time in prison every year and they are used to working without me. The organization would exist and continue to function, but of course it would be more difficult psychologically and more motivated for the teams,” he said, adding: “But there are other people who can lead.”

An interview as part of the investigation into his poisoning

Alexei Navalny, a fierce critic of Vladimir Putin, died on February 16, 2024 under unclear circumstances in an Arctic penal colony where he was serving a 19-year sentence for “extremism” and was buried in Moscow last Friday. His death sparked a wave of condemnation in the West.

Alexei Navalny, a trained lawyer who was imprisoned at the beginning of 2021, tirelessly denounced the oppression and corruption of the Russian elites and criticized the Kremlin's attack on Ukraine from his cell.

The US Supreme Court rejects the Colorado ruling and declares

On December 17, 2020, Alexei Navalny met Frenchman Jacques Maire, then a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, in Berlin, exactly one month to the day before his return to Russia and his arrest. The elected European official was appointed rapporteur for an investigation into the poisoning that almost cost Alexei Navalny his life, with the aim of “legally clarifying the matter” and establishing the responsibility of the Russian authorities, Libération explains.

The defense of the Russian people against Vladimir Putin

In a statement filmed in a hotel meeting room, Alexei Navalny discussed in English the circumstances of his poisoning in Siberia in the summer of 2020 and the role of the secret services in his life since he decided to run for the Russian presidency and what he did held by Vladimir Putin.

When asked by Jacques Maire whether he thought he would be arrested upon his return, Alexei Navalny replied: “That's a question I prefer not to answer (…) They constantly make threats, they confiscated my apartment and mine Bank accounts.” (…). Will I be arrested at the airport? Or later ? I have no idea “.

The US Supreme Court rejects the Colorado ruling and declares

“There are millions of people who refuse to live in a country where all power is in the hands of one person,” the opponent explained, adding: “At least half of the country wants Russia to be a normal European country , but it (Vladimir Putin, editor's note) wants to do everything to suppress and repel this kind of thought or political movement.

An interview was published to “pay tribute” to Navalny.

He also speaks at length about his poisoning, explaining that he never imagined he would be the target of a “chemical weapon.” “That's what I thought, that it was wrong that they only used such methods against terrorists, spies or traitors. They resort to incitement or imprisonment against political opponents. But it was a very big mistake on my part,” he admits.

Jacques Maire told Libération that this interview was not intended for publication. But given the circumstances of the anti-corruption activist's death, “(c)these documents are of public interest to history,” he reasons. It’s also “a way to pay homage to him,” he adds.

Egypt: Police officer disappears after pro Palestinian protest

FROM OUR REPORTER
CAIRO – “He hasn't answered the phone for four days.” Egyptian human rights activists have expressed concern over the disappearance of a police officer who publicly expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause in Alexandria.

Abdel-Gawad Muhammad al-Sahlamy was arrested on Friday after waving a Palestinian flag and calling Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi a “traitor and agent.”

Video footage shared online showed 45-year-old Sahlamy standing on a billboard, waving a flag and shouting “I'm not afraid of you, Sisi!” The Egyptian Network for Human Rights (ENHR) says Sahlamy has not been reachable for four days.

The NGO called for Sahlamy's immediate release and warned that it “holds the Egyptian Interior Ministry fully responsible for his life, safety and security.” After October 7, there were protests in solidarity with the Palestinians across Egypt.

On October 20, thousands of people gathered in Tahrir Square, the epicenter of the 2011 revolution: after protests across the country, over 100 people were arrested, and expressions of solidarity from Palestinians have since been limited to small rallies to demand the opening of the square demand the Rafah border crossing and the import of food and relief supplies into the Gaza Strip.

On December 30, four international activists were arrested and held incommunicado for more than 27 hours after they staged a pro-Palestinian protest outside the Egyptian Foreign Ministry in Cairo, demanding security clearance for the Global Conscience Convoy – a humanitarian convoy in Gaza, which was organized by the Egyptian Journalists Union to bring help to the Strip.

Egypt shares a border with Gaza but has not yet opened it to the transport of aid to the besieged area. All aid entering the besieged area from Egypt through the Rafah crossing must pass through Israeli checks before being allowed in, with many aid trucks being held at the border.

The supermodel Gisele Bündchen is about to star in a documentary called Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain, in which she will take a broader look at the cathartic experience of ending her marriage to the seven-time Super Bowl winner. Tom Brady.

In the first preview of this documentary, Bündchen fought back tears when asked about Brady and what signing the divorce papers meant to her.

“You never thought the marriage could end. No one goes into marriage thinking it will end, but it does. “You said it was the death of a dream.”, reminded journalist Robin Roberts Bündchen. “How are you doing?”

“Well, if you say…” Gisele said before she was cut off by the obvious crying that was beginning to creep into her voice. “I'm sorry guys, I didn't know… Can you give me a moment?” the model concludes in this short preview.

Roberts also asked Gisele about co-parenting with Brady and she said that while some days are harder than others, she tries to focus on what she can handle. The ex-couple shares two children: Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.

Of course, the journalist didn't miss the opportunity to ask Gisele whether she had already managed to “open her heart to someone again.” The model appeared to be cornered as rumors intensified throughout 2023 that Bündchen was in a romantic relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor. Joaquim Valente.

Bündchen's hesitation was evident in the preview, and while no further details were revealed, the model reiterated that she has no regrets about her current reality.

Rumors about Joaquim and Gisele's relationship surfaced in November 2022 after a vacation in Costa Rica with the model's children, shortly after their divorce. Since then, both have been photographed enjoying time together, including on trips to their home country of Brazil. Apparently, Gisele's relationship with Joaquim is going very well given their similar backgrounds and ambitions, showing that they both enjoy a healthy life and traveling, with Gisele being happy and enjoying her current life with Joaquim to the fullest.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady has started a relationship with supermodel Irina Shayk. According to sources close to the former New England and Tampa Bay quarterback, Brady is currently focused on his children and career and denies rumors of new marriage intentions.
