A source told The Sun: “Maya Jama has proven to be a really confident and competent host and young people love her which is key at an event like the Brit Awards.

“Since helping out earlier this year, her star power has increased and she’s had talks about hosting the show herself.

Kazuo Ishiguro’s famous 2005 dystopian sci-fi novel is getting its own series.

FX has greenlit a new show – to be streamed on Hulu in the United States – based on the book and starring Kelly Macdonald, 46, Tracey Ullman, 62, and Viola Prettejohn, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series will star Prettejohn – best known for her work on HBO’s The Nevers – as Thora, a rebellious teenage clone who escapes from the boarding school where she is being placed with the other clones, and a triggers revolution.
