According to parent company Meta’s latest quarterly report, Facebook actually had more than 3 billion monthly active users in July. The platform also had 2.064 billion daily active users, up from 2.037 billion in the previous quarter. This growth was crucial as Facebook reported its first quarterly decline in daily active users in the final quarter of 2021.

“Whether you’re new to Facebook or a long-time user, you may want to separate your personal and professional relationships, or you may want to keep one profile that’s related to a community you’re a part of and another that’s for friends is reserved. By creating multiple personal profiles, you can easily organize who you share content with and what content you see for different areas of your life. ”
This new feature allows you to create up to four additional personal profiles on Facebook. As usual, you will need a username that begins with an @.
Once the profile is created, you can organize the content of each profile to divide your different interests and sort them more easily.
If you have multiple profiles on Facebook, you can easily switch between them without logging out and logging in again.
Some Facebook features such as Dating, Marketplace, Business Mode, and Payments are unavailable for additional personal profiles for now. However, for more personal profiles, messages will be available in the Facebook app and on the web.
When you create an additional personal profile, its settings are automatically reset to default. This means that one profile’s notification and privacy settings are not carried over to other profiles.
The ability to create multiple personal profiles is currently being rolled out globally and will continue in the coming months. The company also plans to expand Messenger support to more profiles in the coming months. Additionally, the option for an additional personal profile is only available to eligible adult accounts.
