A 12-year-old girl from Argentina is the youngest victim of the dangerous “Blackout Challenge”. The Independent.
Milagros Soto was found dead at her home after attempting the “Blackout Challenge,” also known as the “suffocation challenge,” according to her aunt.
The very popular challenge on the platform is to hold your breath until you pass out.
The young girl would have passed the challenge twice but would have died on a third attempt, according to Fam Press.
Her aunt believes someone in a publication urged her to do it again, adding that Milagros was bullied at her school.
TikTok told the Washington Post that it is blocking searches for users who wanted to watch videos from the “Blackout Challenge.”
In November, Bloomberg Businessweek reported that fifteen deaths had occurred among young people aged 12 and under.
