As reported in detail, CTPark St. Pölten Nord welcomes its first tenant. Now more details have been known.
General cargo specialist Raben BEXity is opening its new logistics center in Herzogenburg in the second quarter of 2024. 14 thousand square meters of space will be created for rack and block storage, cross docking, order picking and dangerous goods. The logistics center is located in the new CTPark St. Pölten Nord, a modern commercial and industrial area covering around 87,800 square meters and has great transport connections. “The new location replaces our old logistics center in Herzogenburg and offers customers significantly more space and logistics options,” says Erwin Gosch, sales manager at Raben BEXity.
The new location not only benefits from an excellent location. It is located close to the A 1 and S 33 between Vienna, Linz and Germany – and therefore on the important connecting axis between East and West. The modern and spacious pavilions offer excellent storage options with sustainable technologies, such as electricity generation from photovoltaics and charging stations for electric cars. Customers will have access to approximately 4,000 square meters of cross-docking space, as well as 3,000 square meters of rack storage, 1,700 square meters of block storage, 2,000 square meters of warehouse area for goods in/out, preparation of value-added orders and services, 2,800 square meters of dangerous goods storage on racks (in two divided aisles), as well as 500 square meters of storage area for entry/exit of dangerous goods.
The new logistics location combines several advantages: On the one hand, the modern facilities are larger than the previous ones and can accommodate all logistics activities, such as the storage of dangerous goods. In the cross dock, trucks can be loaded and loaded directly on both sides, and additional loading gates also speed up the handling process. In terms of storage, the new location offers significantly more options, such as expanded capabilities in block storage, rack storage and dangerous goods areas. Last but not least, employees and drivers benefit from a modern working environment. “The new location has significantly more capacity and options, as well as an ideal and sustainable infrastructure. In this way, we offer an ideal consolidation of transport and warehouse logistics in the Lower Austria area and enable customers to receive optimized services related to general cargo logistics”, explains Erwin Gosch.
