The case, which had startled many young people, happened on March 29, in the middle of lunchtime.

The occupants of a gray SUV had approached the high school grounds, and at least one of the occupants reportedly pointed a gun in the direction of teenagers waiting for the bus.

However, no shots were fired.

A few minutes earlier, a teenager who was also waiting for the bus on the corner of Avenidas Des Ormeaux and Georges had been pointed at him with a gun by the occupants of the same vehicle.

Due to his age, the identity of the arrested man cannot be released. A search was conducted at the suspect’s home and found ammunition and spare parts for a pistol.

According to the authorities, further arrests could be made in this case.

This story of gun violence came 10 days after 18-year-old Khaled Mouloudj was shot dead on the street in the same area.
