A 16-year-old teenager who allegedly pointed a gun at students at Anjou High School last week was arrested by Montreal police on Thursday morning.

The case, which had startled many young people, happened on March 29, in the middle of lunchtime.
The occupants of a gray SUV had approached the high school grounds, and at least one of the occupants reportedly pointed a gun in the direction of teenagers waiting for the bus.
However, no shots were fired.
A few minutes earlier, a teenager who was also waiting for the bus on the corner of Avenidas Des Ormeaux and Georges had been pointed at him with a gun by the occupants of the same vehicle.
Due to his age, the identity of the arrested man cannot be released. A search was conducted at the suspect’s home and found ammunition and spare parts for a pistol.
According to the authorities, further arrests could be made in this case.
This story of gun violence came 10 days after 18-year-old Khaled Mouloudj was shot dead on the street in the same area.
