2022 MLB All Star Game Roster Announced Shohei Ohtani Aaron Judge

2022 MLB All-Star Game Roster Announced; Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge among those heading to the Midsummer Classic

The 2022 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be held in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 19. This is the second time Dodger Stadium has hosted an All-Star game, having also hosted the 1980 Midsummer Classic. Los Angeles also hosted the All-Star Game at the Memorial Coliseum in 1959, while Angel Stadium in Anaheim has hosted three times (1967, 1989, and 2010).

As usual, the game will pit the American League against the National League, with last season’s pennant winners playing in the same role for their league. That means Astros manager Dusty Baker runs the AL while Braves skipper Brian Snitker runs the NL.

The starters are chosen by the fans, while the reserves are filled in via player choice and the commissioner’s office. Managers are no longer part of the process.

Here are the rosters. Each league’s starting pitcher is selected the day before the game.
