The 2023 NBA draft will bring a new class of young talent to the league.

French sensation Victor Wembanyama is leading the field as the acclaimed generational youngster is sure to be the San Antonio Spurs’ first overall pick.

But beyond the first pick, some lottery teams have the opportunity to add a crucial candidate, while other teams will try to snag gold on a rookie with untapped potential.

Our NBA draft picks Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo reckon Alabama’s Brandon Miller will be the Charlotte Hornets’ #2 pick. But G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson is right behind Miller and the decision could be spot on.

Other potential players up for grabs in the lottery include Villanova’s Cam Whitmore and Overtime Elite twins Amen and Ausar Thompson.

All the action takes place Thursday at 8:00 p.m. ET at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Watch the show on ABC, ESPN and the ESPN app.

The 19-year-old, who Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James called “a generational talent,” didn’t disappoint this season in Paris for the Metropolitans 92. He led his team to the finals, was named league MVP and didn’t miss a game all seasons. With the NBA ahead of him, Wembanyama has a chance to become one of the faces of the league once he joins Spurs this October.

Where do you expect the other top NBA contenders to end up?

Wembanyama has been a fixture for San Antonio since Spurs won the draft lottery on May 16. The No. 2 is still up for debate as Miller has been ahead since last month, but G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson impressed during his practice for the Charlotte Hornets and is still in the mix. The Thompson twins have a chance to complete the top five if picked with consecutive picks in 4th and 5th place.
