Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-20 last Saturday to advance to their fifth straight AFC championship game. Mahomes suffered a bad ankle sprain in the first quarter but returned in the second half, finishing 22-of-30 for 195 yards and two touchdowns, missing just 13 games. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid praised the quarterbacks’ resilience in the fifth year after the game.

Kansas City lost 27-24 to the Bengals this season in Week 13 and in last year’s AFC Championship game.
