A The 27th LGBT+ Pride Parade takes place this Sunday (11) in the city Sao Paulo. The concentration of waiting for the electric trios to depart began around 10 a.m. on Avenida Paulista.
This year, both experienced artists such as Pabllo Vittar, Pocah, Daniela Mercury, Paulete Pink and Majur and newcomers such as Thiago Pentaleão are taking part in the party. (Check the schedule below)

Fixed weather is forecast for the capital. Around 10 a.m. the temperature should be around 24 °C; in the afternoon, at 2 p.m., maximum 28 °C. At night, the thermometer should read 16 °C at 10 p.m. Rain is not forecast.

As with the last edition, the theme of this parade is related to the struggle to ensure the rights of the LGBTQIAP+ population, especially in the area of social assistance: “We want a comprehensive social policy for LGBT+ and not just half”.

According to the manifesto for the 27th parade released by APOLGBTSP the association responsible for organizing the event in São Paulo Brazil’s public policies are not geared towards the LGBTQIAP+ community and the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS) is weakened when it comes to this part of the population.
“It’s about time the parade was a tool to draw attention to the various dilemmas faced by the LGBT+ population who find themselves on the streets, namely lack of housing and jobs, poverty and social exclusion. There is a need to discuss the issues highlighted in the social welfare policies that can generate answers and solutions to the problems we face,” the manifesto reads.

What is changing in SP traffic?
Traffic disruptions are planned on Avenida Paulista from early in the morning. From 8 a.m. the avenue is closed to cars. The changes will be made on Paulista from Praça Oswaldo Cruz to Praça do Ciclista. In another section, on Rua da Consolação, from Praça do Ciclista to Praça Roosevelt.
