A man threw several grenades into a community meeting in Ukraine, injuring more than two dozen people.
The unknown person carried out the heinous attack on gathering participants in the village of Keretsky – a half-Hungarian, half-Ukrainian village near the border of the two countries – on Friday morning.
“As a result, 26 people were injured, six of whom are in a serious condition,” a police spokesman said, according to the BBC.

An unidentified city councilor in Keretsky, Ukraine interrupted a local community meeting and detonated three grenades, injuring over two dozen people and reportedly killing one. The terrorist entered the room with his hands in his pockets, and videos show he went largely unnoticed for several seconds.
Video of the attack captured the moment the attacker entered the meeting room with his hands in his pockets as the group continued a heated discussion.
The attacker then took the grenades out of his pocket and identified himself to the others present, who flinched visibly in shock.

The footage becomes chaotic after the attacker throws the grenades onto the ground and explosions occur, shaking the camera and sending debris across the room.

The meeting was broadcast on Facebook Live during the attack.

It is easy for Ukrainian citizens to obtain weapons as weapons are distributed en masse to support ongoing defensive military operations against invading Russian forces.
The attacker raised the grenades into the air to show the visibly shocked attendees before throwing them to the floor of the room. Footage livestreamed from the gathering captured the moment of the detonation and the chaos that followed as dozens of people were injured in the blast.

Investigators are reportedly working with witnesses to clarify the circumstances of the attack.
