Night shots show resuscitation efforts. Officials from the Miami Dade County Rescue Corps rushed to save the little boy’s life.
It was previously found in a water canal not far from his home, police officials said.
The mother told with deep sadness that they were at home when she saw that the door was open. At that moment he realized that the little boy named Kayden had come out.
The minor’s father also spoke to us. She said she no longer lives with the mother and still doesn’t understand how the baby died.
Little Kayden, just three years old, was reported missing minutes before he was found in the canal.
When rescuers arrived, the boy was unresponsive but still had vital signs.
During the investigation, the 119 Southwest area containing 212th Street was cordoned off for several minutes.
After being found in the canal, he was taken to Homestead Baptist Hospital in critical condition, where he died.
The mother says she was devastated to learn from officers that they had knocked on her door minutes after the boy’s transfer.
The boy’s mother, who is obviously in a state of shock, is still speaking about him in the present tense and says she is still trying to process what happened.
The reasons for its earlier disappearance and subsequent discovery in a water canal are still under investigation.
One of the hypotheses is that the child accidentally fell while walking through this area.
Some of Kayden’s relatives and relatives have come to the place to leave flowers to remember him.
