A 32-year-old Louisiana high school teacher sexted a 15-year-old boy, told him she wanted to take his virginity, then abused him while she sat in her car with her baby, prosecutors allege.
Tatum Hatch, a former teacher at West Monroe High School, was arrested following an investigation that began Dec. 15 when officers with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office were alerted to an inappropriate student-teacher ratio.
Hatch is accused – among several lurid allegations – of coming to her victim's house and dragging him into her car, where she is accused of touching his genitals with her young child in the car.
Authorities then contacted the 15-year-old student's father, who confronted his son.
The son allegedly told his father that his relationship with Hatch had already lasted a year and a half.

Hatch also moonlights as a photographer and can be seen in a picture from her professional Facebook page
Officers met with the 15-year-old victim, monitored his cell phone and found an Instagram message thread which they screen-recorded.
In the thread, Hatch told the child that she wanted them to have sex by telling him to come through her bedroom window.
Hatch is also accused of sending the victim nude selfies in what is known as “vanish mode,” in which the images eventually disappear.
Police later discovered additional messages in which Hatch asked the victim about his possible sexual conquest.
The 15-year-old told Hatch that he was scared, and Hatch replied that she was scared too.
Hatch then told the victim that she was worried he would find another person who could take his virginity.
Police continued to uncover conversations between the victim and Hatch over several months.
After authorities obtained a search warrant for the Instagram messages, they found a nude photo of the teacher.

One of their conversations even took place at a school event after dismissal, where Hatch allegedly tried to get the boy to sit with her.
Police took Hatch in for questioning on December 16, a day after they were alerted to her alleged behavior.
Hatch refused to answer several questions about what she sent to her alleged victim out of fear she would lose her children.
However, she admitted to speaking to the victim via Instagram messages.
Authorities later discovered that Hatch allegedly gave the victim between $500 and $600 because she was afraid of a rumor about the boy.
The local school board confirmed Thursday that Hatch resigned on Dec. 26. She had been on administrative leave since Dec. 15.
Hatch was arrested Wednesday on charges of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
She was released after posting $10,000 bail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
