A total of 235 new infections were reported on Thursday (with 1,017 recoveries). On Friday morning, 18 more were added.
Starting Friday at 8:00 am: As of Thursday, 235 new infections were reported in Vorarlberg (with 1,017 recoveries). Another 18 new infections were added on Friday morning (with 177 recoveries).
This means that 3,600 people in Vorarlberg have currently tested positive for the corona virus.
The seven-day incidence in Vorarlberg rose to 600.6 on Wednesday. Across Austria, the seven-day incidence is 643.8.
situation in hospitals
Currently, 49 COVID patients are being treated as inpatients. Six COVID patients need intensive care treatment.
Of the approximately 6,000 employees at Vorarlberg hospitals, 61 employees have tested positive for corona and one employee is in quarantine. This means that a total of 62 employees – due to corona – cannot work, i.e. around 1.0% of employees.
538 fatalities
Two more deaths were reported on Wednesday. So far, 538 people in Vorarlberg have died from or from the corona virus.
