“A brilliant and versatile presenter, able to shine in a wide variety of contexts, Pierre-Yves Lord has captured audiences from all the major networks here throughout his career,” wrote Dany Meloul, Director General of Télévision de Radio-Canada. He is the natural choice to succeed Véronique Cloutier who has served this Gala so well over the years. »

Pierre-Yves Lord, who co-hosts Two Golden Men and Rosalie with Patrick Lagacé and Rosalie Bonenfant, had indicated that he would wrap up the adventure at the end of this season. He will be replaced by Jean-Philippe Wauthier … whose successor he himself has become. He will continue to host 100 Genies on Radio-Canada.

“I already have the heart to celebrate,” PY Lord responded in the press release. For anyone who is passionate about the profession and loves festive gatherings, this is an irresistible offer. I wish you a funky party, a great communion that will highlight the excellence of the artists and craftsmen of our small screen. My joy will be immense in bringing this to life for viewers. I’m already counting the nights! »

Pierre-Yves Lord will be one of the guests of Tout le monde en parle this Sunday March 26th.
