1. Kingdom of Bisnaga

The Kingdom of Bisnaga, also known as the Vijayanagara Empire, is located in southern India today. With a population of 500,000, this kingdom became the second largest and most populous city of its time.

And contrary to what one might imagine, it only existed in recent times, between 1336 and 1646, and its ruins can be visited today.
