CCF is coming quickly with its variety of concerts spanning 11 days, November 2nd to 12th, at multiple Montreal venues. Here are the 6 concerts you shouldn’t miss, according to LCA.
The King, the Rose and the Lou[p] – November 4th and 6th at Club Soda at 8 p.m
If you attended the first edition of this concert with three emerging artists at Francos in 2022, you missed something. Fortunately, the CCF ensures that your ears are pampered in the medium term. Ariane Roy, Thierry Larose And Lou Adriane Cassidy. Since the three artists share musicians, the result is a result that flows naturally on stage. If you wanted to see it on November 4th and were disappointed not to get tickets, there’s an extra two days later that will be just as fun.

Julia Jean-Baptiste, Palatine and Malaimer Soleil – November 4th at the Lion d’Or at 8 p.m.
Here are two French projects and one from Quebec that deserve your attention. If you are like some others, you don’t have tickets to Le Roy, La Rose et le Lou[p]Well, don’t be sad! A great performance awaits you. Julia Jean Baptiste makes imaginative pop with very beautiful melodies and convincing lyrics, Palatine is a master at creating atmosphere with his music Malaime Soleil also offers a good deal and has just released its first album. There is no doubt that it will be one of the best concerts of this CCF edition.

Corail & Duu – November 7th at Lion d’Or at 8 p.m
Well, you will tell us: we know it is the Canal Auditif evening… But if we have not decided to attend this evening it is because we think it will be quite a concert. coral, the duo of two popular musicians on the Quebec independent scene: Philippe Noël and Julien Comptour! This is an opportunity to discover the songs from their album Maison, released in September. DuuIt is the project of Étienne Dupré, a bassist particularly known for his participation in Klô Pelgag’s group, but also for Caltâr-Bateau and many other projects. DuuIt’s daring, challenging, but also a concern to have pieces that hold together well.

Viviane Audet – November 8th at Petit Outremont at 8pm
I don’t know if you had time to listen to the new album Viviane Audet, but it’s worth a look if you like Smart Pop. There we find effective lyrics, surprising melodies and successful arrangements. It’s definitely an album worth checking out if you haven’t already. Just like his show where he introduced the songs during the CCF!

Paul Sèxe Band & le cabaret d’la fin du monde – November 8th at 9 p.m. at Verre Bouteille.
There’s nothing like a little fight against rampant capitalism to have a nice evening. After the breakup with Sèxe Illégal Paul Sexe goes solo, accompanied by well-known musicians from the Quebec rock scene: Elyze Venne-Deshaies and Lydia Champagne (Nüshu). It is brewed in a glass bottle!

Fanny Bloom & Beau Nectar – November 10th at the Lion d’Or
Fanny Bloom has just released his new album Holistique and will present the songs on stage. The detour is worth it. In the first part there will be a French-Canadian duo that is worth a detour: Beautiful nectar. The female duo just won multiple awards at Trille Or in September and offers uninhibited pop with compelling melodies. In perspective, a wonderful evening.
