It's no secret: the cost of living continues to rise. It is becoming increasingly difficult to indulge in small gourmet pleasures, such as enjoying a good meal at a restaurant.
We (really) understand you! That's why we decided to put together a few (delicious) restaurants in Montreal that offer you menus at very reasonable prices to satisfy both your stomach and your wallet.
Without further ado, here are 6 restaurants that offer meals under $25:
This restaurant offers you a menu in 3 acts: starter, main course and dessert! Sunday through Tuesday at Fugazzi Restaurant on Center Street. 1st course: green salad, 2nd course: choice of Wu Tang or Inglewood pizza or rigatoni noodles, 3rd course: cannoli. Reservations are recommended, spontaneous travelers are warmly welcome!

To eat comforting Parmesan pasta for just $5, head to 408 avenue Mont-Royal, a tiny space that used to house La Distributrice Bar à Café. Foodies can also accompany their meal with a pancake and a coffee. At this address in the Plateau, you can use your blue ticket to enjoy a generous portion of penne with homemade Italian tomato sauce and aged Romano parmesan. With a little extra you can also add meat or mozzarella.
Be warned, however: there is no need to warm up here! This is a real gift.
408 Mont Royal Avenue
Undoubtedly you won't find gnocchi at a better price than at Drogheria Fine in Mile-End. The gnocchi dish is served in a cardboard box (which you've probably seen on social media) and costs just $5. For a little kick, you can add parmesan and cracked pepper.
68 Fairmount Avenue West, Montreal
You will find a wide range of original and innovative sauces created by the team at Lulu's. The quality and taste are reflected in every portion served. When you order at the counter, you can choose from a variety of recipes that have already been carefully curated, tested and approved by Lulu's team of experts. But you also have the option to create your own personalized plate, an ideal formula for those who are undecided!
For a limited time, get a pasta dish (from a select selection) and a soft drink or water for $13.95. Note that the noodle portions are extremely generous and you get what you pay for.
