Addis Ababa, December 31 (RHC) Members of the diplomatic and state mission of Cuba, compatriots living on the Caribbean island and graduates (Etio-Cubans) celebrated today the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the January 1 Revolution.

Reflecting on the year that has almost ended, Havana's Ambassador here, Jorge Lefebre, highlighted the more than six decades of resistance of the Cuban people, who in 2023 will once again suffer the effects of the economic, Trade and financial blockade suffered. Joined.

Lefebre said that despite the economic hardship, the belief in victory has never faded and “we will never give up.”

He assured that the Cuban Revolution will continue for many more years and that there will be others like those present today who will celebrate every anniversary and every victory of this revolutionary process.

The diplomat thanked the presence of several generations of Ethiopian Cubans in this activity, while acknowledging the unconditional support and solidarity shown to the Cuban diplomatic headquarters in Ethiopia. “This is your home too,” he emphasized.
