If you’re looking for a cruise, this holiday season could be the right time to book.
Many major cruise lines are offering Black Friday deals on a range of cruises, from expeditions to Antarctica and the Galapagos Islands to itineraries in the Caribbean and Alaska. This year’s offers include fare discounts, gratuities, onboard beverage credits and more.
Travelers can find bargains on different types of trips, from family-friendly vacations on action-packed mega-ships to more relaxed getaways on a smaller ship (for more information on choosing a line, check out USA TODAY’s cruise guide here).
Here are seven of the best Black Friday cruise deals for 2023.
Up to 40% discount and credit at Cunard Line
Cunard is offering up to 40% off starting fares on select cruises departing January 2024 through May 2025. Guests can also receive onboard credits of up to $1,000 per stateroom.
The deal runs through Dec. 4 and is valid for the first two guests on a reservation, according to a press release.
Holland America Line Black Friday sale
Holland America guests can receive up to 30% off cruise-only fares on select sailings through 2025. Travelers can also receive prepaid gratuities for the first and second guests in a cabin, according to a press release.
The offer is valid for over 800 departures to destinations such as Alaska, the Caribbean and Antarctica.
The sale runs until December 1st. Itineraries of less than five days and large trips are not eligible.
So many expeditions for half the price of HX
HX, which recently announced its rebranding from Hurtigruten Expeditions, is offering passengers up to 50% off select expeditions through March 31. Offerings include itineraries in the Galápagos Islands, West Africa and more.
Travelers must book by November 30th.
Drinks, WiFi and more from MSC Cruises
MSC guests can get drinks and Wi-Fi included on most cruises, as well as up to $500 in onboard credit, as part of the line’s Black Friday deal. The offer also includes free fares for children under 17 traveling as third and fourth guests.
The sale runs until November 24th. Adult passengers who book as part of the offer will receive the line’s Easy Plus beverage package, which includes cocktails, wine and beer, bottled water and more. The drinks package for minors must be purchased separately as part of the promotion for accompanying children.
The free children’s tariffs do not apply to the cabins in the shipping company’s Yacht Club – the luxurious ship-within-a-ship concept.
Norwegian Cruise Line Black Friday offer
Norwegian is offering 50% off cruises to passengers who book by November 26th. Travelers can also combine the offer with the cruise line’s Free At Sea offer to receive perks like free specialty meals, WiFi and more.
Save over $5,000 with Oceania Cruises
Passengers can save up to $5,400 per cabin as part of the Oceania offer. The upscale shipping company’s offer is valid for more than 100 cruises in 2024, from a week to more than a month.
Eligible cruises include itineraries in Asia, the Mediterranean and South America, according to a press release. Guests must book by December 5th.

Virgin Voyages Black Friday offer
Virgin is offering 30% off select cruises departing through December 2024 and a bar tab for premium drinks on board. On the adults-only line, guests receive $600 per stateroom on cruises of seven nights or more, $300 for cruises between four and six nights, and $125 for itineraries of three nights or less.
The deal runs until November 30th.
