73 year old man arrested after shooting two women in Florida

A 73-year-old man was arrested by police on Monday Shoot and kill two women According to police reports, in the city of Hollywood in southern Florida.

On Monday evening, investigators interviewed the woman who was with Fiallo and called 911 to report the shooting.

According to her statement, she and the suspect had gone to dinner in Hallandale Beach and arrived at the house around 4 p.m. While she was in the bathroom, she heard gunshots, grabbed her purse and cell phone and fled the apartment toward her car, according to the affidavit, which was consulted by the Sun Sentinel newspaper.

The woman told officers that Fiallo tried to comfort her as she cried in the car and told her he shot the victims “because we had problems in the past.”

She told police that the man was having problems with the owners over electrical and plumbing issues and that they were trying to get his move-out deposit back.

It is not clear whether the two murdered women were the owners of the house where Fiallo lived, the newspaper noted.

Fiallo was booked into the Broward County Jail on the charge Two counts of premeditated murder. He appeared in court this Tuesday afternoon and will remain in prison without the right to bailcourt documents show.
