Joel Embiid and James Harden were defeated by the New York Knicks in a 119-112 win for the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

Embiid finished the game with 35 points. Teammate James Harden also seemed very comfortable as he finished with 29 points and 13 assists on Christmas Day.
However, the New Yorkers had found a good rhythm from the start of the game and were leading by fifteen points by the end of the first quarter. They led for most of the game, only escaping the lead twice. By the end of the game, however, the Knicks had some trouble converting their chances. It was enough for the Pennsylvania State formation, which took advantage of this lack of opportunism to finally take the lead in the middle of the fourth quarter. Visitors never looked back.
Julius Randle had a strong game that ended with 35 points, but it wasn’t enough.

The teammate with the most points after James only managed 17 points.
The home side managed 18 shots from downtown and just nine for the visitors, a stat that made all the difference at the end of the game.
