The 27th Culture Days begin on Friday and last until Sunday. From Quebec to Montreal there is no shortage of workshops. Here are eight of the multitude of free activities offered to culture lovers young and old in all their forms.

Immerse yourself in the lives of the students at the National Circus School

Visit different types of installations, admire student artists during short presentations, and learn about different circus disciplines. This is what the National Circus School offers by opening its doors to the general public. A great way to imagine yourself as an acrobat or trapeze artist for a day.

Celebrate 60 years of Place des Arts

To mark the 60th anniversary of the Place des Arts, four artists were invited to share their memories of this legendary place. Meeting with multidisciplinary artist Michel Lemieux, former ballerina of the Grands Ballets Canadiens and artistic director of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec Anik Bissonnette, conductor Nicolas Ellis and actor Denis Bernard.

Travel to the heart of the Northern First Peoples

Using photographs, films, artifacts and objects created from the interaction between Indigenous architects and artists and scattered throughout exhibition spaces in the form of a journey, we will journey into unknown territories to better understand Indigenous visions and realities.

The illusionists, magic concert

A magical encounter with “a few telepaths rescued from a 1920s music hall” (disappearances, levitations, telepathy, etc.) and a women’s orchestra with unusual instruments. The artists of this theater duo will interact with the audience after the show.
