Spring break is just around the corner and you don't have anything planned to keep the kids entertained yet? No panic, The newspaper has put together a great list of cultural activities to keep you entertained, from Quebec to Montreal.
TV specials
The TVA station has prepared a special program for spring break. The show Le Cheater welcomes actors from the series Les Bracelets rouge: Thomas Delorme, Anthony Therrien, Léanne Désilets, Mylia Corbeil-Gauvreau and Tom-Eliot. Salut Bonjour invited Enola Bédard, the trio Le Roy, la Rose et le Lou[p], Daniel Brouillette, Sophie Nélisse, Thomas Delorme, Tom-Éliot, Mégan Brouillard and Marilyne Léonard. Several children's series and films are also offered on the TVA+ platform. The highly anticipated new animated series “Pokémon the Horizons” will be released on Télétoon on March 2nd (two episodes, one episode per week from March 9th).

Films for all ages
Fancy cinema adventures and salty popcorn? Several cinemas present films expected by young people (Argylle, Dune: Second Part, Kara: The Force Awakens, Kina and Yuk: The Fox of the Ice Floe, Migration, Wonka…) and some offer great discounts. Haven't you seen the Ru movie based on the book and story by Kim Thuy? During spring break, about ten cinemas in Quebec offer two tickets for the price of one. Disney on ice
From March 1st to 4th, the Videotron Center will be transformed into an icy universe with the show Disney on Ice: A Magical World. The hosts, the famous Mickey and Minnie Mouse, will welcome as guests the equally popular characters Moana, Frozen, Coco, Beauty and the Beast and many other characters known to young and old. The show “Disney on Ice: The Magic of the Stars” with various Disney heroes (including Elsa and Aladdin) is being shown at Place Bell in Laval until March 3rd. https://www.lecentrevideotron.ca/fr

Quebec:
Think big in the museum
The Quebec National Museum of Fine Arts (MNBAQ) has put together a special program dedicated to the stars and vast spaces. It is titled “Thinking Big” and will take place March 2-10. For $10, the pass provides access to two workshops and two tours. If the night at the museum is already busy, the 45-minute experience allows the family to explore the “Seeing the Night” exhibit accompanied by a museum guide. Also, put on your pajamas on March 6th to attend the movie pajama session. The film A Cat's Life will be presented at 7 p.m. https://www.mnbaq.org/

From hip-hop to museums
Fans of hip-hop music, the Musée de la Civilization de Québec has you covered! The program from March 2nd to 10th – inspired by the exhibition On Words. The Sound of Queb Rap – will consist of writing, dance, music and tattoo workshops. As a bonus: a show from Studio Party Time, where you will also learn some dance steps. https://mcq.org/
