In addition, we also recall the reckless increase in energy costs, both electricity and natural gas, which has irrefutably led the main energy companies (such as Enel Energia in the case of the Italian territory) to consistently increase the cost of monthly energy bills, leading to more significant dissatisfaction across the continent.
This in turn has also had a significant impact on living in shared flats, on the use of certain household appliances in everyday use.
In fact, some condominiums offer the possibility of using the washing machinesbut you can get very high fines (which in some cases can even reach 800 euros) if they are used at certain times of the day: let’s find out together what are the specific condominium rules to follow to avoid these high fines.
The Condominium Rules
These rules were drawn up precisely in the spirit of good cooperation, in order to regulate the use of the washing machines throughout the day and thus to manage the common rooms effectively and intelligently, as well as to manage the situation in an economically optimal manner. In this case, in fact, the Italian law also intervenes, especially in relation to noise pollution, which regulates noise at the level of the environment.
Due to the provisions of the Prime Minister’s decree of November 14, 1997, it is necessary not to exceed a certain decibel limit during certain night times. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. the permitted limit is 5 decibels. During the night hours, i.e. from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., this limit drops further and in this case reaches 3 decibels.

Once these limits are exceeded, in addition to paying very large fines, there is immediate civil liability for the individual violating these rules. Of course, the limit of admissibility also depends on the condominium itself and on the contract between the different condominiums that belong to it, so it is always necessary to consult the latter to ensure that the rules are respected.
