A 30-year-old Indiana man has received a serious prison sentence for planning and carrying out the murder of his mother’s boyfriend after he mistakenly hung up the phone seconds earlier and inadvertently left a voicemail message for his mother.
Cody Allen Wade, 33, was sentenced Wednesday to a massive 85 years in prison for the murder of his mother’s boyfriend, Carl Haviland, who was stabbed four times on June 18, 2020, the New York Post reported Monday .
