Three weeks ago, the National Vaccination and Epidemiology Commission determined that the full protective shield against Covid-19 in Costa Rica now includes three doses (previously two) for those over 12 years of age, two of the basic schedule and one booster shot. .

For this reason, the CCSS urged those who still need an injection to approach their preferred vaccine and use it appropriately so that the body achieves maximum immunity to the virus that causes this disease.

He also stressed that vaccines against Covid-19 have been shown to be effective in reducing the risk of serious complications and death from this disease.
