A TikTok user threw a baby shower for her best friend, but no one showed up. The story went viral and the video has already racked up over 1 million views.
“17 people had confirmed their presence, but nobody came. Hours before that, people started sending messages saying they couldn’t participate,” wrote the user identified as @spin.in.circles in the video.
The party would take place in a hall and, in addition to food and drinks, would of course have a themed decoration. A cake was baked in honor of the baby, who will be named Mac.
The unnamed friend was devastated. “I can not stop crying. My face and eyes are so swollen I can barely open them,” the mom wrote after the party went awry.
“People can be very cold. She deserved more,” complained the friend, who later complained about the guests on Facebook.
