Meghan McCain is officially a mother of two!
Former View co-host and husband Ben Domenech have welcomed a baby girl, the couple announced via The Chron on Friday.
Daughter Clover Jade McCain Domenech was born on Thursday January 19th.
“Yesterday morning we welcomed our newest member, Clover Jade McCain Domenech, to our family!” they shared in a statement. “Ben and I are thrilled to introduce Liberty to her little sister and embark on this new adventure as a family.”
Domenech added: “Meghan’s strength and love for our daughters knows no bounds. I feel so blessed that she and Clover are doing well and I can’t wait for our whole family to meet our little girl.”

Sharing the article on her Instagram story and Twitter, McCain added, “Over the moon to welcome our new daughter Clover and to officially announce we are a family of four yesterday morning!
“We all feel blissful, healthy and exhausted!”
The couple welcomed daughter Liberty Sage in 2020. In September, McCain celebrated Liberty on National Daughter’s Day, just before the toddler’s second birthday.

McCain continued, “I was meant to have girls. I understand girls naturally, I always have. Raising her and being surrounded by intense divine feminine energy is the great gift of my life.”

Earlier this year, McCain opened up to PEOPLE when she revealed that her daughter Liberty shares one of the same habits as her father, John McCain, who died on Aug. 25, 2018 after long treatment for brain cancer.
“So this is very weird… DNA and genes are weird,” McCain began. “[Liberty] does that thing with her hands, and [my dad] always did that before. I dont do this. I don’t know where it’s coming from, but she’s doing it even now.”

She added at the time, “I told my mother-in-law that I get scared when she does it because it’s that tic my dad used to do with his hands.”
“Well, it’s stuff like that, but I loved my dad and I love my mom in a way I think a lot of people love their parents, they’re the people who raised you,” she continued. “And with my dad in particular, in so many different ways, he was so caring about so much of my life. But with my daughter it’s just pure. She is perfection.”
