Jeremy Renner announces he broke 30 bones in an accident

Jeremy Renner revealed he fractured 30 bones in the accident that led to him being hospitalized earlier this year. The actor spoke about his recovery in a post on his Instagram profile and even shared a photo of him doing physical therapy at his home.

“Morning workouts and resolutions have particularly changed this new year,” Renner wrote. “[As mudanças] They came from a tragedy for my whole family, but soon they materialized in a love that unites. I want to thank everyone for the messages and for their consideration for my family and me. Lots of love and gratitude to you.”

He continued, “Those 30+ broken bones will heal and grow stronger, as will the love and bond with family and friends.” See the image below:

Renner was hospitalized in critical condition after an accident while shoveling snow on Jan. 1. According to his representative, he suffered “chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and was admitted to an intensive care unit after two surgeries. Days later, Renner thanked the medical team in a hospital photo.

Officially, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, where the accident occurred, has not released any details about the circumstances that led to the actor’s injuries, only stating that a team is investigating the case. However, according to one of the actor’s neighbors interviewed by TMZ, a snowcat accidentally ran over one of Renner’s legs, resulting in significant blood loss.
