“Morning workout resolutions have changed this special new year,” the actor wrote in the latest post-hospital update
Jeremy Renner revealed the extent of the injuries he sustained in a snowplough accident in a new social media update of his recovery on Saturday.
Alongside a photo of the Hawkeye actor, who is now out of hospital and undergoing physical therapy, Renner wrote that he suffered “over 30 broken bones” after the New Year’s Day accident near his home in the Lake Tahoe area.
Renner was hospitalized with chest trauma and other injuries in a “critical but stable” condition after the incident and was only discharged earlier this week.
“Morning workouts, resolutions have all changed this special new year…. Born out of tragedy for my entire family and quick to focus on uniting actionable love, I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I,” Renner wrote on Saturday.

Renner is currently starring in the second season of Mayor of Kingstown, in which he plays the unofficial mayor of a small prison town in Michigan; The show returned this past Sunday, January 15, after which Renner tweeted, “Out of my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home.”
