Boric was received by Argentina’s Vice Chancellor Pablo Tettamanti and Chile’s Ambassador to that country, Bárbara Figueroa.
The President, who was accompanied by Foreign Minister Antonia Urrejola, will address urgent issues of regional integration and improving the living conditions of the population at the meeting.
Topics of interest include the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, the food crisis, security issues, migration and the environment.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Chilean President plans to meet with the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Qu Dongyu, with whom he will discuss the plan to end hunger by 2025.
He also plans a meeting with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, to analyze the association agreement with the European Union and the strengthening of relations with the old continent.
