The actor Leonardo DiCaprio played the role of the character Jack Dawson in the classic Titanic, released in 1997.
In the story, an artist falls in love with a young woman from a wealthy family who is engaged to the heir to a steel company.
In search of true love, she defies her family and friends. Jack and Rose get together but end up witnessing one of the greatest sea casualties in history.
The production is partly inspired by the sinking of the RMS Titanic, which took place in 1912. DiCaprio was born in Los Angeles, California and is currently 48 years old. Academy Award winner for his work in The Revenant, he began his career in the ’90s doing commercials.
After playing the role of the character Josh in Critters 3 (1991), the star had opportunities to appear in other roles, such as in the film Gilbert Grape: A Dream’s Apprentice, where he participated in the side of Johnny Depp worked.
