Simon Cowell continues to look unrecognizable at the BGT launch

Simon Cowell continued to look unrecognizable as he arrived at the launch of Britain’s Got Talent on Tuesday.

The 63-year-old TV mogul was one of the first to arrive at the London Palladium as he gave viewers the thumbs-up as he was joined by longtime hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Simon, who recently shocked fans with his radically different facial features, was in good spirits as he entered the coveted theater as hosts Ant and Dec were surrounded by the ecstatic crowd.

Dressed in one of his signature off-duty outfits, Simon was in good spirits as he got out of his car in front of the theater to head to the first auditions.

The highly-anticipated new series began filming this week and is set to hit screens in the spring.

Recently, Simon has raised concerns about his radically different facial features, most notably unrecognizable in a Britain’s Got Talent promo.

The record label boss sparked concern with his “unrecognizable” appearance at the Royal Variety performance, which was filmed on December 2 and aired on ITV later that month.

Introducing BGT winner Axel Blake, Simon left TV viewers distracted by his incredibly smooth face, which may have been the result of cosmetic surgery, with one asking: “What did he do to himself?”.

The record producer had previously sparked concern with his performance, and one viewer wrote on Twitter: “I just saw Simon Cowell on the Royal Variety Show what has he done to himself?”

While another added: “WTF did you do that to your face boy?” and a third added: “Simon Cowell needs to stop having facelifts!”

A fourth agreed, commenting: “Flicked over during half time football and was George Michael’s Simon Cowell ordered to Wish on stage”.

Another said: “Simon Cowell had a bit of work to do” and further joked: “What on earth happened to Simon Cowell?”.

He had previously raised concern among fans in a promotional video shared on social media early last month.

The TV mogul looked unrecognizable as he sported an incredibly smooth complexion, sparkling white teeth and enhanced features.

Simon recently revealed he’s taken his love of Botox too far as his final treatment makes him look like “something out of a horror show”.

According to The Sun, the talent show boss said he decided to quit when his odd appearance sent son Eric, eight, into hysteria.

The former X Factor judge, who shares his son with partner Lauren Silverman, 44, revealed he no longer has filler on his face as a result.

No doubt BGT fans were excited to see who would make up the final judging panel after David Walliams was eliminated.

Bruno Tonioli seems to be the name on everyone’s lips after Alan Carr was set to take on the role.

It was alleged on Monday that Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon had refused to sign contracts for the show’s latest series.

The duo are said to be furious that Bruno will be comparing his new salary to his own – an estimated £850,000.

According to The Sun, Amanda and Alesha have wreaked havoc on the latest series and bosses have been scrambling to secure the TV favorites before filming begins in London next week.

A source told the publication, “Amanda has been with BGT for 17 years while Alesha is in her 11th year. They don’t think it’s fair for a newcomer to come on the show and get the same deal as them.

“It’s giving BGT a bit of a headache as filming for the next series begins Tuesday at the London Palladium.”

“Bruno still ironed out his contract on Friday so everything is very spot on.”

Web has reached out to representatives from Amanda, Alesha and ITV for comment.

It comes after it was reported that Bruno would triple the salary he was paid at Strictly Come Dancing by joining the ITV jury.

Former strict judge Bruno replaces David Walliams, who left the show last year after ITV bosses who wanted comedian Alan Carr were overruled by boss Simon Cowell.

Bruno, who is said to be “delighted” to return to UK television prime time on Saturday night, will now triple his former Strictly co-stars wages.

Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke are believed to earn £250,000 per series on the Strictly judging panel.

It comes after a battle between Bruno – a close friend of Simon’s – and comedian Alan for the role. The show’s judges, Alesha and Amanda, were told the identity of their new colleague last week.

According to Chron’s Katie Hind, Bruno is yet to sign the contract but he was officially offered the job after a tug-of-war between ITV and BGT boss, who insisted he would take over the role after David’s departure.

Alan, 46, is said to be “devastated” at losing what he thought was his job.
