Deadly gun violence again in the United States: A man shot at least three people at a gas station in Washington state. Outside a gas station in the western city of Yakima, the man finally fired into a car in the middle of the night and wounded or killed a possible fourth victim, police chief Matt Murray told a news conference. The shooter then fled in that car.
“This is a dangerous individual who is acting indiscriminately and is a danger to the community,” Murray warned. He couldn’t give any information about a possible motive. “There was no apparent conflict between the parties. The man just walked in and started shooting,” he said of the incident at the store attached to the gas station.
Several acts in a few days
Gun violence and deadly attacks of this magnitude are sadly normal in the United States. In recent days, there have been several acts in which several people have been killed. Over the weekend, a gunman opened fire on a dance hall during a Chinese New Year celebration in Southern California.
Ten people died at the Monterey Park crime scene, and another victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Another man opened fire at two crime scenes in Half Moon Bay yesterday, killing seven. The crime also happened in the state of California.
